I am a supporter of the technology, but we have to be careful how we use it, and how we continue to develop it. We need guardrails. We need standards. This is something thay has to be multinational, and not up to one nation or leader to decide. This is similar to cavemen discovering fire.

Don't be anti-A.I. Really. Be anti-using-A.I.-as a replacement for cognition and creativity. A.I. is a powerful tool for making our own intelligence work better... but it's not a replacement. It requires stewardship and sustainable practices... which is not how the corpos have done it.

I snaked out George this evening. George is my main horn, named for the designer. Poor George had a lot of biofilm buildup. It was bad... chunky, even. He's all clean now, or at least as clean as he can get at home. I'll have to send him up to my repair tech for an ultrasonic bath in the spring.

Every Ivy alum I've encountered has been superficial, arrogant, condescending, or some other mix of negativity. Not to mention the shit they get up to on some campuses... saw and heard a lot of awful shit when visiting for football games, and other reasons. I felt safer at a WVU game.
