One excuse I keep seeing whenever folks admit to using AI for stuff like game decomps and mods is that “this wouldn’t be able to exist without AI!!” Which A) that’s not remotely true, shit like this has existed long before genAI, and B) Maybe it doesn’t need to exist then? We can survive without it
