General knowledge of 40K let me understand the setting, but not enough to pick up on the hints. This allowed a story that was more thriller and less action. The characters couldn’t directly name the villains because they didn’t know their actual names. 110

It was well written, told a story that was entirely new, and gave a narrative to things that I had only ever seen hinted at or been included in a throwaway paragraph. 130
