Can we normalize not taking it personally when an introvert wants to eat lunch alone? Sometimes we just need 30 quiet minutes to recharge without having to make small talk. It’s not personal. We just need the break

As a Power Ranger fan since the show first aired, I'm so excited and sad to be waking into the theater to see Legend of the White Dragon. Grabbed my popcorn, candy, and drink, and now it's time to let my inner child have a blast.

I got to see Coyote vs Acme today, and what a fun, sweet movie. I'm so glad it got rescued from the pit of despair WB threw it in, and we all get to enjoy it as it deserved. Also, the audacity of this movie to make me emotionally invested in the mental and physical wellbeing of Willie E Coyote 😂

After a rough mental week, today I'm going to be a kid at the movies to watch Coyote vs Acme and then the premiere of Legend of the White Dragon because I will forever be a Power Ranger fan, and of course I'm going to see JDF's final film.

As it is Skynet Day, it seems as good a time as any to share that data center based LLM Ai is caught in a death spiral which is going largely unreported in the media. In short, major insurers are creating carve outs for Ai, refusing to insure it, causing corporations to abandon its front facing use.

First, we lost Dolly Parton, then Tim Curry, and now we lost Peter Cullen, one of *the* voices for many childhoods. Is Death looking at the right list?

There it is. While you struggle to afford groceries, or find any that are edible, and pay thousands more every year in gas, rent, utilities, childcare, and healthcare, they are laughing all the way to the bank.

Hard to believe it's been two years since my current D&D group started playing together. So many great times we had, and even more to come as we continue our campaign.

Just found out the cabaret theater in my hometown closed after 50 years. I have a lot of fun memories of the shows I got to see and people I got to meet. I was missing it for a long time. Sad I was never able to see another show in all the years after I moved away.

After playing the mildly depressing Plague Tale games, I think it's time to play something a lot more cathartic on my backlog. Cue RoboCop theme.

I've finally gotten around to playing A Plague Tale: Innocence and Requiem. I loved the story, even all the emotional damage it gave me, and also loved the art direction. Such a beautiful game to look at, even in the darker, grosser segments.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die is hilarious, chaotic (in the best way) and such a good time at the movies. A great take down of AI and our unhealthy relationship with being on our phones so much instead of being present (something I'm still working on 😅).

A lot of people say you don't need to play the original God of War trilogy to enjoy the current ones. And that's absolutely true. But I've always thought people missed out if they didn't play them. I think playing them beforehand gives players a deeper connection to Kratos and his journey.

Yup, we're working on a new Castlevania game. Thanks to KONAMI, & with Motion Twin's friendly advice, the franchise will be going back to its roots with what we hope to be the best whip traversal & combat ever seen in a 2D action-adventure game! Noooo pressure... www.konami.com/games/castle...

I was fully expecting just a remaster of the first two God of War games (GoW 3 still looks amazing), but a full on remake of the Greek trilogy? That's going to make those games even more epic. And I'm glad people who were never able to play the original story will be able to see Kratos' journey.

I've been wanting to get back into writing lately, and I came up with a neat idea to do so. I'm thinking I'll write a short journal entry as my D&D character after each session. Maybe this will help me get a little better at role-playing too during my sessions. #DnD #tabletopgaming

Last week, I FINALLY got around to playing The Plucky Squire, and I loved it. This game was made for creative people needing to get back in touch with the inner, creative child some of us let fall by the wayside. Highly recommend playing this adorable, beautiful, fun game. #videogames

I started painting miniatures years ago and stopped because the voice in my head told me I would never be really good at it like all the other painters I'd see on YouTube. This weekend, I started over again and focused on learning and having fun. So behold, my messy Samurai Jack. #miniaturepainting

It's that giving time of year again, so this is a reminder that no matter how they try to dress it up, the Salvation Army is not a charity.

The Salvation Army is not a charity. They are an evangelical church that uses donated money to actively oppress gay rights. They've been especially cruel to trans people.

Writers should never modify their own prose as a reaction to what stupid fucking generative AI is doing -- that shit stole from us, and it stole poorly, incompletely, and has none of our magic and zero of our humanity, our experience, our wonder and fear, and it never ever will. Fuck AI. You do you.
