Had a blast recording with BFAM! It was fun to let loose, goof off with friends and just absolutely shit on some games.

Its also crazy how much happens in the 4 cut routes just off screen - this game was clearly much larger at one point and I think the structure hurts the amazing lore But theory crafting videos will be dope to watch. Probably not the last we’ve seen of this world

Game #62: Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Overall - a fantastic game, held back from the heights of Three Houses by poor design decisions (the world map, supports, etc). Too many units hurt the overall character quality. But the main cast is fantastic and gameplay is phenomenal. 86 hours well spent.

Worried when I saw the headline. Read the contents and it’s not about generative AI luckily

I’m beyond 65 hours in Fortune’s Weave and into Part 3. I’m also massively overwhelmed with the amount of units at my disposal and the amount of things to do. But the story is awesome, Part 2 was amazing.

In Part 2 of Fire Emblem - It’s blatantly obvious that Theodora was meant to be the main character of Fortune’s Weave.

It’s insane how much better Leda, Dietrich and Theodora’s stories are than Cai’s in Fortune’s Weave.

Honestly - won’t be surprised if the “Xbox Game Studios” portion is gone this time next year. Can absolutely see those remaining studios shifted under ABK/Bethesda

I can't imagine what it's like being at Ninja Theory right now. - reveal Senua, looks awesome - Xbox is downsizing - they've found a buyer (cool) Now those deals fall through and the closure is still on, the game presumably canceled? That's gotta be insanely though to work through.

Game #61: Wolverine I’ll have expanded thoughts on the podcast but - incredibly mixed thoughts. Combat was fun, some baffling design decisions, a story cut into 3rds that feels incredibly disjointed. Not a fan of the story they told - so much Wolverine lore and we get this?
