Perhaps I'm just in my villain arc but I am beyond happy with the changes happening at Xbox. I'm excited for my favorite IP, I'm excited for the fire that seems lit, and for the potential future of Xbox. This is not endorsement of job losses - which I feel are meant to be a separate discussion.

I immediately got comments of "we're so fucked," but based on where Halo is at I don't know how this isn't good for the IP. Giving Halo to a new team under one of the biggest FPS publishers and having it sit alongside Call of Duty sounds - on paper - like Halo finally getting the right attention.

Platinum Games developed TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan. Activision published it. Platinum now on TMNT: The Last Ronin. Mutants in Manhattan Remaster was pitched. Don't know what they decided. Exclusivity also considered. 🤷‍♂️

I really enjoy the atmosphere, flying, and collect-repair gameplay of Lou's Lagoon - but the performance is a mess as the frame rate routinely drops on Xbox. Hoping @tinyroargames.bsky.social has a fix in the works.

On vacation this week and finally hiked Mt Rainier after living out here when I was younger. Hell of a hike. My legs are shattered but it was worth it. 🏔️🥾 AND we were about 50 yards from a black bear who was eating. The Rangers had to have us divert slightly. But was amazing seeing one so close.
