We were freakishly unlucky to miss out on conference league in 23/24 when Man U scammed the FA cup from a hungover City. Gotta think we would have won it, maybe instead of the Carabao, and then been in Europa for 25/26 at the very least...maybe a more gradual progression than boom or bust CL seasons

I honestly think they might be done for if they don't cop to it and try and limit how they can be sued in some way. the liabilities will run into the tens of billions, the owners might even be forced to sell, who is going to take that on? they could go bankrupt very quickly.

The domestic political angle to these things can't be overlooked either. Imagine if the UK govt bought an NFL team and it was doing well, politicians would always be talking about what a great decision it was and how it's made the UK more respected/powerful/important overseas.

Any talk of awarding titles to second place teams is nonsense imo. What city did impacted every team, whose to say Swansea wouldn't have beaten them on the opening day of 11/12 and gone on to win the league if they hadn't been playing a financially doped team.

So the first half of this weekend's game provided a bit more clarity about #NUFC 's intentions with the ball - which was welcome. One thing that has become a repeated pattern is the use of the half space across from either wing by both Winger & Full Backs.
