I really didn't want to sell my Eighth Doctor TARDIS, I put so much effort into it and only just finished updating it a few days ago. But since I found out that I lost my PIP, I've had no choice but to sell one of my favourite customs. It breaks my heart to do that 😖

From Home Office guidelines about designing for web accessibility. As I mentioned before, it seems most online retailers take the "Don't" column as a series of handy hints about how to monetise their customers' anxiety. Should be changed from guidelines to legislation. Dark patterns are fraud.

Poster from Home Office Guidelines on Accessibility

Designing for users with anxiety

Do...

give users enough time to complete an action
explain what will happen after completing a service
make important information clear
give users the support they need to complete a service
let users check their answers before they submit them

Don’t...

rush users or set impractical time limits
leave users confused about next steps or timeframes
leave users uncertain about the consequences of their actions
make support or help hard to access
leave users questioning what answers they gave

Williamson’s Tunnels and the heritage centre were obviously a massive part/influence for our Flux series of Doctor Who. Would be amazing if the Who community shared this appeal widely and/or were able to help before this looming deadline. See below and please RT!

If any of you who follow me on Twitter have sent me DMs over the last few months, send them again here on Bluesky, as I can't open them on Twitter now and some of them have only just popped up on there after months.

I've given up with Twitter DMs now, it's only just loading DMs from months ago I never knew I had (for which I'm starting to get notifications for too) and every time I try to open any of them it just crashes and kicks me out. Same for comments too-

"I shall die as I made other Daleks die. Leave me." The Black Dalek has realised it is unwittingly spreading a deadly disease and decides to kill itself. The Emperor tries to change its mind. I know I'm anthropomorphising here, but I find this scene genuinely moving! #comics #Daleks #DoctorWho

Finally had some spare time earlier so I decided to do some topology practice on my Time War Dalek and clean it up. Rather pleased with how this is going. Still a lot of work to be done and redone, but I'm hoping to try and make this model the best it can be, no matter how long it takes. 👀

20 years ago today, 24th February 2005, we shot our first Dalek action for the Bad Wolf / Parting of the Ways story. In finest out-of-sequence fashion, the scene we filmed that day was actually the final showdown. A long and busy day for Team Dalek, but what a magical one. So many memories.

Update on the Season 13 control room for my uni current project. Refined the layout a bit more, added some temporary basic materials and a glass shader. Just need to finish modelling the console and put it in Substance Painter for its proper textures.
