There's two anti trans bills on the ballot in Colorado this year. My dad wanted to talk about them. I was worried, but it turns out that he wanted to let me know that he was going to vote against them and encourage his lodge brothers to do the same. Because he has a trans kid. I'm crying now

It sounds quippy, but I genuinely think the folks constantly targeting books and libraries both hate children (including teenagers) and *don't care* if they enjoy reading or not. They only care about reading for its instrumental use in the workplace. Sometimes for church. That's it.

Was eating lunch when a woman I recognize as a patron walked into the place. She sees me and then *immediately* begins shouted at me that she saw online that the libraries are closing and that it's illegal to do that and aren't I ashamed to personally be doing that.
