One aspect of the London Seirei translation that was tough to deal with was how they handled heavily accented characters. There would often be German words mixed with accented english. I don't know how the original japanese was, but this dialogue constantly showing up was annoying to read lmao.

Learning a bit more about why weapons in PS1 Armored Core never fucking hit: Player 1 has a 1 frame firing delay, causing tracking to lag 1f behind target movement. Most weapons in the game also have 1 frame delay added to that. This doesn't seem so bad until you realize the game runs at 22 FPS.

Researching PS2 MC2SIO a bit more, the brand of SD card i'm using (Kingston 64gb) has been tested and is known to cause freezing. The smaller versions of that card are fine. I've played many games without issue, so I think where the game ends up being stored on the card is what causes read problems.

A day after I talked about Unicorn Overlord stuff, I learned about an incredible site that lets you create and export teams, set up mock battles, and do custom drafts vs other players. It's a great resource in general for the game. The creator also seems to know the pvp meta quite well saltstone.app

The prospect of Vanillaware games coming to PC opens up a lot of potential great things. GrimGrimoire with mouse controls, Unicorn Overlord mods, higher res Muramasa, less friction with setting up Dragon's Crown multiplayer, and more people experiencing 13 Sentinels in general.

Linda³ is an ultimate videogame, highly recommend it. Only thing i would change about it is to allow you to carry over animal progress between scenarios since you end up repeating a lot of stuff to make Scenario C drag a bit.

This helps AC games have smoother lines on things like lockboxes and radar. Sadly the fork we're using for AC2AA/SL can't include this, but maybe in the future we'll get modem support on the main release.
