I am lamenting that within the ELCA, our disabled siblings seem to be left out of conversations regarding historically underrepresented groups. Racism is absolutely baked into the system, but all it takes is a picture of a church sanctuary to see that ableism is, too #elcacwa25

From Heather Cox Richardson today: "Do not doubt, don’t second guess, and don't challenge the President of the US Donald Trump,” House speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) warned GOP lawmakers. “He's the leader of the party." That's MAGA. That's Christian nationalism in a nutshell. SUBMISSION.

The speaker also refuses to acknowledge that the term "judeo-christian," and Christian Nationalism, as a whole, are, in fact, anti-semetic.

I saw a meme yesterday about field trips being wasted on kids, and I totally felt that after having spent the day at Greenfield Village with my son. He loved it. And. I could have spent hours just watching the craftsmen weaving fabric and blowing glass.

Vaccines DO NOT cause autism. But what the autistic people in your life hear when you spread that widely debunked misinformation is that you would prefer to have a child die a painful death from eradicated communicable disease than to be like them. Oh, and that’s bullshit. Hope this helps!

Pay attention. Israel just evicted 40,000 Palestinians from the West Bank. From refugee camps. Tanks have rolled in and they say they will be there at least a year. Palestinians are under attack and under siege in every place in the tiny bits of land that they have been able to hold onto.
