But yeah, wow forever has got me in the grip of nostaligia. It's on my mind like how it was back in the day, where I'd day dream about what I'd do when I log on after school whilst my English teacher poorly taught us about Shakespear...

I've seen some of the areas they've added as well and I'm just like 'holy shit these area areas we had to glitch into back in the day and then I'd be super anxious for like a week cause what if I get banned'... some things never change. I hope Ironforge airstrip ends up being one of those areas.

I'm also hoping I can hop straight in and use the controller mapping instead of the KBM, even if just for questing/exploring/ general causal stuff. I have heard good things about it.

I don't care enough about the Skyborne or the game it self to pay into the Beta. But god damn I will be there when 1.0 drops in a few weeks. Already have an idea of what classes and races I'm gonna roll. Gonna keep my hunter slot open *just* in case we get undead elves in the future...

God damn the WOW: Forever trailer makes me so damn emotional. I remember when I was like 14 watching the OG trailer on loop waiting for my copy of the game to arrive, and seeing the changes and similarities are just amazing.

We found out that Robyn Addison- voice of Y’shtola- also voiced Titania… as we were about to meet her at Kupocon. so we speedran an art card in the queue for her to sign. 🫡 worth it. #ffxiv

A hand draws the lines of an art card of Titania from Final Fantasy XIV on top of a sketchbook. Beside it is a Final Fantasy trading card of Y’shtola, and below a phone with a reference of the large fae looking creature being drawn.

A woman smiles at a convention signing booth, as she holds up the finished art card of a character she voice acts. The card is signed with her name: Robyn Addison.

Hearing that guild wars 3 is being made for PlayStation, and thus will support controllers, is making me very, very interested. Along with my hope of evolved mode for FF14 making controller easier to use.

If I had a nickel for every movie that made me emotional over rocks I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but how on earth have two movies managed to pull this off. 😭

I have a medical appointment today to discuss some issues with allergies and potential MCAS. So I decided to eat something I’m allergic to at lunch time just to remind me of my symptoms and yep, feels like I’ve been hit buy a train. Hopefully an antihistamine helps else work is gonna be /rough/.

I caught up on the new Ghost in the shell series yesterday. It’s really damn good. I love how it’s animated to match the original mangas art style rather than trying to do a modern anime style. Also you know… hot android girls doing hot android stuff with other hot android girls. 😳

Trying out Kill Team for the first time this afternoon. Hoping I can get into it cause I love the appeal of being able to pick up any faction in a single box. I’d like to dabble into another faction a little, and kill team seems like a really good way to do that.

You could also use the twin lance as an early cover clearer. Looking at the rules they look like they’re the equivalent of letting a bayblade rip into terrain and removing all the minis it knocks down.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

If your opponent is still staying hidden, deep strike a squad of Starsythe suits and move them into the 15inch range. Then empty 3 to 6D6 of cover ignoring torrent damage.

100

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Keep what suits you can in reserve, and then either drop them in if things get sticky in turn 2 or drop them in on turn 3. They’ll have increased range from experimental, sustained hits and improved guided from Kauyon.

100

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Played a game of 40K with the new cover rules and it really does feel like a game of chicken. I feel like going Kauyon + experimental is the best. Spend the first two rounds playing hard to get, taking points and using advanced move to dash between cover.

It’s very funny how the Miku Custody sub plot has probably made a lot of people who normally wouldn’t care about the World Cup care about the World Cup. Even I paid a little attention, and that was just to see if England would get Custody after beating Norway.

Come on girls, when I lean forward to write on my keyboard you’re like an inch or two from resting on my desk. You don’t know how euphoric it’ll make me if you can close that gap. I will try prog again once my new e medication levels are stable if I need to.

On that note I do hope there is an imperium mini of the month soon. I want one to use for bits on one of my tau battle suit bases. I think having a broadside or riptide stomping down on an imperial guard model would look pretty dope.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Although, halariously, I think the store with the best air con in our city is the Warhammer store. I wish I’d gotten my other half to take a picture of me building the mini of the month in my 1950s inspired trans pride outfit, complete with big puffy petticoat.

100

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Petition to make a second pride month in the winter/autumn so those of us who disagree with this new found summer heat can attend for more then a couple of hours before crawling towards the nearest shop with air con. 🤣

I don’t ever follow football, but during the world keep I do keep an eye on it just to so I can chat with co workers. I am a little glad to hear that the USA got knocked out after the totally not corrupt intervention on the red card.

But we all know that Talia is going to get at least one, and it’ll sell very well. We know why.

000

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

I don’t think it’ll be straight after the show airs, I’ll give it like a month or two, tops. I do really need to consider sorting or selling some of my ff14 merch to free up space.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Now that the Edgerunners 2 trailer is out and we’ve seen most the main cast… I wonder how long it’ll take good smile to announce and release the pop up parade figures. I reckon they’ve already got them designed and ready to go, but didn’t announcement them for obvious reasons.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Went to go and see Mincemeat last night! Was really damn good. But then, as someone who fixated a littttle bit on WW2 and is a fan of musicals, I might be a little biased.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

I did also have to move my partitions around using gparted. Ignoring the “oh no don’t move boot partitions it might break” warning and just sent it, worked fine. :D

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

If it becomes a more long term thing I will probably look at changing it to use wine instead. That way I can, for example, have it run on start up.

Decided to go back to wow for a bit whilst I wait for 7.55 and 8.0 to come out. Getting it running on Linux is a little funny tho. I have the bnet launcher set as a game in steam so I can use proton. So to launch wow I have to launch steam to launch bnet. 🤣

Labour: lowers voting age to include 16/17 year olds Also Labour: bans social media for under 16 year olds. Im calling it now, people are somehow going to be shocked when the 16-19 demographic vote for any other party in 2029.

It also has the benefit of showing my insanely cute chest of freckles. Wouldn’t recommend the way I got them granted, second degree sunburn is the opposite of a fun time. ❤️

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Honestly the best dress I own for boob disphoria is the ff14 world map skater dress from black milk. It’s stretchy and smushes the girls together and helps lift them a little. Although it’s not my main style of clothing, looking down and going “yay, boobies” every time I wear it is nice.

If medication fails me I will explore implants, just to get to a C or D and to also round them out more. Wearing dresses that sit like a collapsed tent over my chest and bras that fold cause of the spare room… let’s just say it doesn’t help my mental state.

I’m switching over from Gel to tablets for my E in the next few weeks. I’ve both read stories of and witnessed girlies growth restarting after switching to tablets, and I’m hoping I’m one of those. I’ve been stuck as a B cup for like 2 years, and as broad plus size girl I need them bigger.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

I won’t spoil anything, but I think it’s a fantastic and refreshing take on the super hero genre. I’d also recommend watching it in black and white, but Amazon has a really cool feature where you can swap between them on the fly (or so I’m told, I never used it).

000

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Also, Nic Cage is amazing. Part of me wonders if some parts of his script were just “be nic cage” and he just came up with shit on the spot. The writers did an amazing job allowing Nic Cage to just Nic Cage.

I gotta say, I bloody enjoyed Spider Noir. I started watching it in colour, and then from ep2 went black and white. It’s really nice to see that it was filmed for black and white. You can see how they’ve used old colour design techniques to make things stand out. No bright green lipstick tho haha!

I kinda want to just eat Abendbrot for dinner until this heat passes. I really cba to cook anything, and what’s better than meat, cheese and bread.

26 degree weather and torrential rain. This is good for the humidity.

Some airports will still check them if there is no route to avoid passport control, but if there is an alternative route they’ll lead you that way instead. Neat.

000

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

Going through Exeter airport from Dublin was wild. No passport checks just straight into baggage claim. I realised in the train after and had to google to make sure I hadn’t committed a crime. Turns out it’s just a thing we have when traveling from Ireland.

If i ever came into lottery winning amount of money I’m buying or building a house in the country side. Grab the land around it and slap enough solar on it the national grid is paying me the privilege. Then pay an ISP whatever they ask to run gigabit fibre to my door.

It’s only disappointing as Valve is know to push Linux adoption. So it not being seamless is unfortunate. I have tried workarounds and I’m not using the flatpak version, so I’m just gonna wait until they fix it.

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

Got the steam controller, haven’t a chance to use it, but it feels great. Unfortunately, first impressions were a little tarnished as it seems updating the firmware doesn’t work on Linux properly. Had to log into windows to update it, but still get the pop ups on Linux.

Then again, with how faith and belief work with the sisters it could have the opposite effect and make the trip safer. Especially if the specific sect saw the “cuddle pile” has a holy rite and form of worship.

000

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

So long as they don’t get up to anything whilst traversing the warp of course. I don’t think a holy cuddle pile would be a good idea whilst slaanesh is being held off by a multi millennium year old Gellar field.

I’ve just learnt that Sisters of battle don’t actually take a vow of celibacy, idk why I did I just thought it was part of the Nun vibe. But due to constant commitment they aren’t able to do anything outside their job. The job that requires they spend all their time around other sisters… 🏳️‍🌈?
