God damn the WOW: Forever trailer makes me so damn emotional. I remember when I was like 14 watching the OG trailer on loop waiting for my copy of the game to arrive, and seeing the changes and similarities are just amazing.

We found out that Robyn Addison- voice of Y’shtola- also voiced Titania… as we were about to meet her at Kupocon. so we speedran an art card in the queue for her to sign. 🫡 worth it. #ffxiv

A hand draws the lines of an art card of Titania from Final Fantasy XIV on top of a sketchbook. Beside it is a Final Fantasy trading card of Y’shtola, and below a phone with a reference of the large fae looking creature being drawn.

A woman smiles at a convention signing booth, as she holds up the finished art card of a character she voice acts. The card is signed with her name: Robyn Addison.

Hearing that guild wars 3 is being made for PlayStation, and thus will support controllers, is making me very, very interested. Along with my hope of evolved mode for FF14 making controller easier to use.

If I had a nickel for every movie that made me emotional over rocks I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but how on earth have two movies managed to pull this off. 😭

I have a medical appointment today to discuss some issues with allergies and potential MCAS. So I decided to eat something I’m allergic to at lunch time just to remind me of my symptoms and yep, feels like I’ve been hit buy a train. Hopefully an antihistamine helps else work is gonna be /rough/.

I caught up on the new Ghost in the shell series yesterday. It’s really damn good. I love how it’s animated to match the original mangas art style rather than trying to do a modern anime style. Also you know… hot android girls doing hot android stuff with other hot android girls. 😳

Trying out Kill Team for the first time this afternoon. Hoping I can get into it cause I love the appeal of being able to pick up any faction in a single box. I’d like to dabble into another faction a little, and kill team seems like a really good way to do that.

Played a game of 40K with the new cover rules and it really does feel like a game of chicken. I feel like going Kauyon + experimental is the best. Spend the first two rounds playing hard to get, taking points and using advanced move to dash between cover.

It’s very funny how the Miku Custody sub plot has probably made a lot of people who normally wouldn’t care about the World Cup care about the World Cup. Even I paid a little attention, and that was just to see if England would get Custody after beating Norway.

Come on girls, when I lean forward to write on my keyboard you’re like an inch or two from resting on my desk. You don’t know how euphoric it’ll make me if you can close that gap. I will try prog again once my new e medication levels are stable if I need to.

Petition to make a second pride month in the winter/autumn so those of us who disagree with this new found summer heat can attend for more then a couple of hours before crawling towards the nearest shop with air con. 🤣

I don’t ever follow football, but during the world keep I do keep an eye on it just to so I can chat with co workers. I am a little glad to hear that the USA got knocked out after the totally not corrupt intervention on the red card.

Now that the Edgerunners 2 trailer is out and we’ve seen most the main cast… I wonder how long it’ll take good smile to announce and release the pop up parade figures. I reckon they’ve already got them designed and ready to go, but didn’t announcement them for obvious reasons.

Went to go and see Mincemeat last night! Was really damn good. But then, as someone who fixated a littttle bit on WW2 and is a fan of musicals, I might be a little biased.

Decided to go back to wow for a bit whilst I wait for 7.55 and 8.0 to come out. Getting it running on Linux is a little funny tho. I have the bnet launcher set as a game in steam so I can use proton. So to launch wow I have to launch steam to launch bnet. 🤣

Labour: lowers voting age to include 16/17 year olds Also Labour: bans social media for under 16 year olds. Im calling it now, people are somehow going to be shocked when the 16-19 demographic vote for any other party in 2029.

I’m switching over from Gel to tablets for my E in the next few weeks. I’ve both read stories of and witnessed girlies growth restarting after switching to tablets, and I’m hoping I’m one of those. I’ve been stuck as a B cup for like 2 years, and as broad plus size girl I need them bigger.

I gotta say, I bloody enjoyed Spider Noir. I started watching it in colour, and then from ep2 went black and white. It’s really nice to see that it was filmed for black and white. You can see how they’ve used old colour design techniques to make things stand out. No bright green lipstick tho haha!

Going through Exeter airport from Dublin was wild. No passport checks just straight into baggage claim. I realised in the train after and had to google to make sure I hadn’t committed a crime. Turns out it’s just a thing we have when traveling from Ireland.

Got the steam controller, haven’t a chance to use it, but it feels great. Unfortunately, first impressions were a little tarnished as it seems updating the firmware doesn’t work on Linux properly. Had to log into windows to update it, but still get the pop ups on Linux.

I’ve just learnt that Sisters of battle don’t actually take a vow of celibacy, idk why I did I just thought it was part of the Nun vibe. But due to constant commitment they aren’t able to do anything outside their job. The job that requires they spend all their time around other sisters… 🏳️‍🌈?

I don't wanna be *that* person who always goes on about linux gaming. But. I just installed the Pragmata demo on my PC, to give it a shot after seeing all excitement about it. I'm still shocked that I can just install and run a AAA game on release, on linux and have it work flawlessly.

And thus my morning has been playing Cyberpunk 76 and FF14... on Fedora KDE. That was rather smooth.

000

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

Learnt today that Fedora KDE has customizable zone based window snapping out of the box, akin to windows fancy zones. This was the last big thing stopping me from dual booting windows + Linux. I think its time.

It's kinda funny having a bee attracting bush by my office window. Every now and then I'll hear this *thud* sound, as a bumble bee the size of a £2 coin smacks into the window. The downside is, as someone who is afraid of them, it's a pain to take the rubbish out cause it's also by the back door.

I lost my house in FF14, on purpose I'll add, and it feels... freeing? NGL, either my mental health is just that bad or this is proof of how bad the FF14 housing system is.

I’ve lived in this city for like 10 years. And I’ve only just learnt an overnight ferry to France, including a room and a double bed isn’t much more expensive then a train to London. Once my hubby gets his passport sorted, going to France during the summer sounds amazing.

Sora shutting down, Disney pulling out of their open ai deal, Microsoft rolling back all of their copilot stuff. This is it isn’t it? Please say it’s so. I don’t think it’ll ever 100% go. But we’re gonna see a lot less “free” use, ESPECIALLY if power costs keep going up.

Can we just take a moment to look at the move Apple has made with the Neo? A device of Apple standards for that much??? If anyone asks me for work laptop recommendations I’m honestly going to start pointing this out as an option. Heck… some of my games run on my Mac.

When/ if I manage to buy a house part of me wants to buy an older one that’s had all the metal finishings left but panted over in landlord white. And then get the joy of taking them all off, stripping the years of paint from them and restoring them. Idk it just feels like it’d be super satisfying.

Oh, on that note of my tau army. All of my units with normal bases are now magnetized, so they don't move around in my carry case. Just gotta figure out what to do with the drones. Probably gonna get some same size standard bases and just glue the flying base to it.

110

Lady @theladye.bsky.social · 01/03/2026

Anyone else look at #tau drones and think they look like bunnies? I wanna paint mine brown and then paint just a bit of the outside of the antenna pink to look like rabbit ears and the little optic under the rim to look like a lil' nose.

Finally got to a post office to grab the forms to change my name on my driving license. They were out and told me to try the big post office in town. The post office is *literally* the only place you get these forms from I swear to god. How do you run out of a form you can just print off?

Also, politics time. Holy shit what the hell. I did not expect Green to win the bi-election with such a majority. I expected green or reform to win yes, but I was thinking like.. single digit percentage difference between the 3.

Decided to delve back into my f2p osrs account recently. As of yesterday I had finished all free quests aside from shield of arrav. I have a friend who has an alt that’s gonna help me with it soon. I think my goal is to get to all my skills to at least 50 and then give in to members.
