Today I learned that the average monthly car loan payment is $804! That’s much higher than I expected. To make things worse, the average auto loan is 70 months!! $804x70=$56,280.00 (including interest) It gets worse…

Range Rover Sport: - USB-C port under sliding cupholder, which has a sliding lid, both of which are useless when a cable is ran - Engine start button all by its lonesome in the middle of the center console, which is a prime area for things like… cupholders and USB ports.

Historically, based on our @autopacific.bsky.social research...when gas prices soar consumers are *more likely* to switch powertains but not vehicle types/segments (i.e. go smaller), and it would take a big leap for the former to happen.

I know it’s an old mule but I’m kind of digging these proportions. Most current 2-door coupes are 50% hood, small passenger cabin, and a hatch-y rear.

I flew in from Amsterdam yesterday. The back third of a 777-200 was empty. It was nice to stretch and sleep on the 4-seat middle row.

Apropos nothing, I was just thinking if I’ve ever flown of a trijet airliner… and I’m not sure that I did. Did you?

Ugh. There is nothing on the uber app for driver feedback that says the driver so un-smooth(?) or harsh that I wanted to puke. He was not fast or dangerous, he just kept bleeping the throttle on and off, which was further magnified by the hybrid system and ICE turning on/off. 🤮
