Go anywhere in the U.S. at least 100 miles from any International airport and walk into a truck stop. The degradation of rural America is severe (and not in a good way). The people are trash. Lived in S.F. for 7 years then moved up to Seattle for past 17 years. Neither is better than the other. S.F. is older with old money, Seattle younger with a more recent younger wealth base.
