Talk about an episode to highlight the new HD remaster. During the opening ceremony, we see some people in the spotlight and some in the dark, and we see it all so clearly. And coming soon at the party, the lights will dim and...wow, I can't wait for it

It's been a while since I've seen the #Toonami version of episode 14 with their "previously seen on" intro. I must say, I'm very impressed by the editing there. In 45 seconds, they recapped the entire first season with tons of clips from what appeared to be every episode. Nice!

What a great moment - that shot of Takeshi and Andrei shaking hands #IGPX

Risky for Takeshi to be following Cunningham so closely behind him. At those speeds, if he even barely came into contact with Cunningham's mech, it would likely have caused him to lose his momentum, if not crash. But as they say, no risk, no reward. And it pays off! #IGPX

In the special Cunningham Takeshi sequence, it's like they're floating above the track, as their feet are not on the track. I somehow never noticed that before. It's a nice touch to the sequence. #IGPX

Of course, only one of the pilots needs to cross the finish line first, and it doesn't have to be the team's forward. Amy gets first place, securing a win for Team Satomi. Way to go! #IGPX

Another fun fact: Teams are allowed to call a Running Skeleton for a pit only once per race. What most people don't realize is that once one team pits, the other team is not allowed to. That's why we never see anyone pit after one team does, but we sometimes see both teams pit at the same time #IGPX

I love how Luca does human-like things when he's in the mech with Amy, like winking with one eye, but then is basically a normal cat otherwise, when outside the mech. #IGPX

Fun fact: The protestors in this scene chant their anger in the Japanese version of the show, while they are silent in the English versions (Toonami and I.G versions) of the show.

What a stunning set piece I.G made for this scene. And there are more awesome-looking scenes to come. #IGPX

This action sequence with Takeshi is phenomenal in the #Toonmai version with these two songs. It makes the scene feel cool and epic. The songs are by Amon Tobin and Blockhead. #IGPX

A #Toonami favorite - "Get a Move On" by Mr. Scruff. I'm glad they were able to use this song, even though it's just once in the series, only here in episode 7. #IGPX

I always loved that there was a charity auction during the #IGPX all-star festival.

I really love the music choices that Toonami made in this episode, and this track by Skalpel is a good one. #IGPX

I happen to be in the US right now, so I can watch #IGPX live on an actual TV through actual cable. It's a nice feeling. It's late, but let's see if I can stay awake for episode 7 - "Spring Has Come"

We get our first listen to the song "Pulse" here. The Toonami version uses it throughout the series. I think it fits the scene well. And way to go Mark for humbly trying to help the team stay afloat. #IGPX

The tension between Andrei and Miss Satomi gets a little intense. I always liked that this show didn't shy away from more mature themes despite it targeting a slightly younger demographic. And, wow, the set pieces are just so awesome. #IGPX

#IGPX Episode 3! There's a reason Team Black Egg is in the IG-1. Their focus on defense has worked for them to get them to the big leagues. Can Team Satomi win their first race?

The animation of Takeshi's facial expression in his mech changing ever so slightly with the realization of what happened is so subtle and brilliant...this happens before Liz yells at him, so he hasn't even come to terms with the fact that it is mostly his fault that they didn't win the race... #IGPX

I'll be doing a bit of live posting during this awesome episode of #IGPX. One of the coolest music additions that the Toonami version made to episode 2 was just a moment ago when they added "Get Your Snack On" when the race restarted. It makes us think Satomi is pumped to win, and then...nope!

I totally missed the memo but #IGPX will be back on #Toonami next week, at 2am in the lineup! According to the official website, it will be the first episode of season 1. It'd be cool if they aired season 2 in HD after season 1, but I'm pumped to know the show will be aired again!

8 hours out from a very big #NintendoDirect, here are my 3 predictions/wishes: 1. Ocarina of Time 4K (only because of all of the rumors) 2. Star Fox Adventures on NSO 3. A new F-Zero game (this would be awesome but we've waited this long with nary a hint at a new game)
