And now the Dragon’s Dogma 2 is going to also use FSR frame gen to fake 60fps out of a 30fps game. This is a bad trend, but at least Capcom is offering the ability to turn frame generation off. If they’re insistent on doing this, they should at least unlock the frame rate too and use VRR.

I was never going to get this game, but thankfully there’s a Stellar Blade demo on Switch 2 so I can see how the 30fps with FSR 3.1 frame-gen to make it look 60 looks and it looks BAD. Smeary and blurry, it never looks good and it is distracting. Developers should never do this, please.

One of the little perks about Switch and Switch 2 is that they’re basically impossible to knock out if the power goes out, they just switch to handheld. Literally had my Fire Emblem game and the power just went out here and I haven’t lost any progress.

I don’t have real hardware to compare to but I’m pretty confident this is an emulation error that Nintendo needs to fix. Right up reflections in Star Fox Adventures are displaying incorrectly. Look at Fox’s reflection, it’s all the way at the top of the screen when it should be under his feet.

Kojima is notoriously difficult when it comes to deadlines and budgets, at a time where according to some of what I’ve seen, Sharma is extremely strict when it comes to those. Under the Spencer era, Kojima probably would have had a very loose leash but is that gonna fly under Sharma? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Time to start begging developers to add VRR docked mode to Switch 2 games. Unfortunately, it’s not enabled by default, it needs to be patched in. Hoping that Digital Eclipse gets the memo. Hamster too for their Arcade Archives 2 games.

The Ghost In The Shell has ended, and while I loved this adaptation, I do wonder where the franchise goes from here. Will they keep going and adapt Human Error Processor and Man-Machine Interface? Honestly, I can’t see anyone touching MMI due how bizarre it is.

The OoT remake art style was going to be controversial no matter what they did, but I like it. The only flaw for me, is I think young Link looks a little too baby-faced. And for what it’s worth, the original game is accessible on the console anyway, so no big deal in my opinion. #ZeldaDirect

The only things I felt were truly missing from this #ZeldaDirect: 1) A trailer for the movie (which is odd, because they brought it up only to show literally nothing) 2) Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD ports to Switch. Come on, these can’t stay on Wii-U forever.

Stand Alone Complex did a better job with the Brain Drain storyline (the last 5 or 6 episodes of the first season) than the original manga. Although changes were made to fit the Laughing Man storyline, I think it’s for the better, especially the character writing and political backroom dealings.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, none of Middle Eastern real world nations are mentioned in the final arc of the Ghost In The Shell manga and replaced by a fake ones in the 2026 adaptation. Again, not surprising considering the recent headlines generated over the last few years.
