Turns out the target market is people who can't get a game. I feel like if I had spotted this before my last show I would have written a different sad advert voice-over script. “Just £5 a month can sponsor a nerd into a game with real humans and dubious snacks…”

Had a whole bunch of adverts for AI D&D (boy are they targeting that wrong). Initially I was puzzled, really can't see any of my roleplaying friends going for a robot DM.

That is also a point. But I am still on the fence about if there has so far been an Iranian attack. Although if it turns out that Iran managed to get some blokes in transit vans to go scrumping for fuel nearby and the US 'Department of War' then withdrew the aircraft, then well played to those lads

2) While they could in theory be a “deterrent” that feels like an out of date way of thinking against Russia these days. Especially given the selfish nature of the current USAian regime.

I am not an expert, but my gut feeling is that the fact that bombers went home to America doesn't make us less safe. 1) Bombers are not defensive aircraft

which has just enough different definitions and no “Académie Française” equivalent keeping one version as ‘truth’ that criticising it will always be open to misinterpretation

No matter how much you separate criticism of Isreal from Anti-Semitism there will always be the issue that somewhere in the middle of the Venn Diagram is “Zionism”

In my quest for minimalism, I have made a relaxing game of balance 🧘 Please try it and let me know what you think? It’s real quick, and I’m proud of this one.

Whoever the Fairford Five turn out to be, on top of whatever sentences they get, they should also be thanked for showing how hollow Hegseth's bravado is.

Posts I am struggling to put into words: Celebrity canvassing in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election. Seeing women look out for each other from the other side. Plague isn't the problem, but I do still worry about if bird flu is going to be a problem.

Today's amusement is that Grand Central have proposed a Newcastle to Brighton service that would go via Sheffield. If this came of it would allow me significantly more opportunities to say "The Brighton Line" in everyday life.

Been given a potential opportunity to make the best out of job hunting today by an advert. If I take it, by ringing up a friend who reads audiobooks and quoting the income the ad suggests I could make I would expect be rewarded by a generous portion of his most beautiful laughter.

In the early 20th century the “Moffat Tunnel” was created as Denver's railway breakthrough the Continental Divide. Whereas is the early 21st century the same name was given to a very entertaining way to drive the story through particularly wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey plots in episodes of Doctor Who.

I was watching the Jack Smith hearing and wondering why the nameplates said Mr this or Mrs that, but then I realised that they can't possibly use a non-gendered title like Senator.

The movement of water is so complex that the mix of lasting and ephemeral patterns make really convincing rain one of the hardest things to find in film and television. That and really well written parts for older women.

Mainly because the five lads with transit vans can facilitate moving more fuel than the US Navy is managing to get through the Strait of Hormuz and all for the price of a cheeky Nandos.

I both stand by this position and also find it hilarious that if you try and correlate the various public statements (especially by the US Executive Branch) and that the perpetrators are out on bail you get to the idea…

So if every news platform is reporting speculation by investigators then it probably means that both nobody can go on the record or even say who they are not doing so.

Hey look, while the "Open a window" school of journalistic ethics is important, I feel that today's RAF Fairford incident should have reminded people that occasionally all that reporters can do is count them out and count them all back again.

Put some extra stir fried vegetables into my charred corn chowder to up its 5aday quotient. Not the worst choice I have ever made cooking.
A white bowl filled with a creamy brown liquid. Floating in this is much corn, some carrot, pak choi, and a spoon.

Because Trump is mad at our closest ally, Canada, he decided to buy potash (a key fertilizer ingredient) from one of the world's most notorious cruel dictators, Belarus' Lukashenko. Typical for Trump, he didn't bother to check before announcing his big deal. Belarus doesn't have any potash to sell.
