I started this print in 2019-2020. It never felt quite finished so I never really printed it (plus I started the drawing on the block so the mirrored composition was a bit awkward). Then I found it in my flat files when looking for another block and thought, “eh, it’s not so bad actually.” #linocut

I hate how the solution to Phoenix’s heat problem is SO obvious but it involves people coming together from both sides to work towards the benefit of all mankind. It also involves prioritizing people over corporations. So in short… it likely won’t happen.

Oh no. I messed up. I got my partner who is not into soccer to watch the World Cup with me. Now he is sad that Mexico lost. He could’ve lived a carefree life unburdened by a team’s inability to score a goal when they needed it most.

I played soccer from the age of 6 to 16. At some point during that time my mom bought me this team USA Brava sponsor jersey. I can find no information about this jersey online but it remains the only team USA merch I own. I’m 80% sure it was for the USWNT but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I genuinely do not know where my beef with the Netherlands national team comes from but I can’t bring myself to root for them. I loved visiting Amsterdam. I love Dutch art. Stroopwafel? Amazing! Miffy? Stunning! Orange? A beautiful color! But in the World Cup? I am perhaps their biggest hater.
