@watervaporeon.bsky.social Hi there! Would I be able to get permission to import your modern and classic sonic models into forces? Love your work, and hope I'm not bothering you!

The best take on Supermans politics is probably from Morrison/Bendis He starts off radical but as his powers grow he becomes more of a centrist lib until later in life he regrets not doing more and emphasises the Man of Tomorrow stuff again

I don't think big two comics are unsalvageable at all. There's a bit of a creative rut right now, but it'll come and go, like always. Anyone saying otherwise is being very dramatic.

Not an original thought here, but Jesus is LAWRENCE OF ARABIA such a gorgeous film. Some of the best visual storytelling you'll ever see

Did not enjoy SPACE AGE, but feels especially odd to follow up a book that was more about Batman than Superman with effectively the same thing...

Nothing against the specific people or topics, but the regularity with which video essay culture has shifted to multi-hour runtimes, with intermittent skits and running internal plots is why I don't watch them anymore

The American public school system is beyond fucked but every day I appreciate the high school history teacher I had who only taught about Henry Kissinger as an unambiguous war criminal who led to the death of millions. Rest in Piss

Free pitch for an article if anyone wants me to talk about the publication history of Daredevil as a metaphor for the whole collective industry of genre fiction

Still not liking where this event is going or how its being written. But following up Catwoman's ultimatum with Batman just bodying everyone like its nothing is pretty funny

I started reading current superhero comics in this era. Somewhere between the start of New Avengers and the start of Brubaker's Cap run was my gateway after mostly consuming trades of older Batman stories. So this whole stretch from Disassembled until about Dark Reign has a special place in my heart

Tom King re-imagining ANIMAL FARM is an extremely weird idea that I'm not sure I totally understand. But its Tom King, its leaning into literary sensibilities, and it sounds like a challenge from a scripting perspective so I'm 100% here for it.

I always get emotional thinking about or reading Peanuts. Its just one of those things that feels like it ignites a sense of innocence and nostalgia that's impossbile to overcome. And I definitly cried towards the end of this. More thoughts to come...

IMMORTAL THOR #1 absolutely rules. Hoping for another 50 issue epic that explores the concepts of storytelling, godhood and myth. Ewing doesn't miss
