f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 22/11/2024Superboy or not, this is always the answer Clark spends most of his childhood actively afraid of his powers and/or on a very purposeful journey to accept himself, which limits his powers Ironic that he accidentally replicated this with his son as well. 0273
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 20/11/2024I'm cooking a thread on Twitter rn And yes, I do make this about Superboy, eventually. 4270
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 19/11/2024also completely unrelated to anything, but i had this dream of a fusion of Superman, Spider-Man, and Venom, where the symbiote was the last survivor of the Klyntar race and it landed on Earth, alone Peter Parker finds it and takes care of it and they eventually bond to become a Superman figure. 3303
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 19/11/2024i gotta fucking lock in and make something or else 2025 about to be the worst year for Superman shit ever if the movie bombs 1140
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 19/11/2024my dream is one day i'll galvanize all these muzzies on CBTWT and the 2030s will be known as the Muslim Invasion of the American Comic Book Industry 2190
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 18/11/2024we all have our examples of "comics were always political" but this is like the exact flavor of identity politics with the exact responses too we just force ourselves to engage now we should bring back a proper Lois book and really test the limits in the middle of Trump's administration 2282
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 18/11/2024i appreciate posting bsky because here i don't have to deal with the worst brand of people um actually ppl with heads filled with useless thoughts 1220

f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 18/11/2024I swear to God if someone um actuallys me on that Rao pitch one more fucking time without actually reading it I will go on a psychotic break 2170
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 17/11/2024a rough design for Rao honed in on the flamebird connection of course, and also took inspiration from that immortal Superman in williamson 5367
Reposted by f i t.Sejf @newmetrohaven.bsky.social · 17/11/2024I remember someone had this idea on twitter but im not sure exactly who it was, to have a superboy series in the style of ben 10. This made me think lex in gwen's spot would be really cool. Clark's best friend from childhood goes on the roadtrip with him and it eventually leads to their animosity 191

f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 17/11/2024continuing on this train of thought, i'd like to link him to Nightwing and Flamebird, taking a cue from Batman and Robin. Batman's name, for the most part, is based around the animal. A bat. On the other hand, it's his sidekick, Robin, that's actually based on a folklore hero: Robin Hood. 1221
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 17/11/2024a crazier idea is also linking it to a Kara villain arc. something like Enerjak in Archie Sonic 2150
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 17/11/2024a crazy idea i'd like to explore is making Rao a massive-scale Superman villain 3180

f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 17/11/2024it's honestly crazy how much my attitude towards someone in fandom will completely change if they are actively writing/arting/creating things, and not just reviewing stuff or if their reviews feel like genuine works with real insight 2100

f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 16/11/2024we need a real romance writer to write capes. like someone who writes that REAL good shit. i think we get a lot of horror influence, but the romance influence seems to have faded away, much to the detriment of cape stories. 4478
f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 16/11/2024funnily enough tho, there was a golden age story where Superman and Lois encounter a gambling place that allowed children to play. and you know what Lois and Clark did? they figured out how to shut that place down and let the kids learn their lesson. could be fun to have this be a lesson... 170

f i t. @fitmarshmellow.bsky.social · 16/11/2024does secret years count? i like superboy, so i'm not a big fan of any origin, because in my eyes, the real origin is just the ship landing in kansas, so he can be found by the kents. that's where the story starts, that's the inciting incident, anything that treats his first days at Metropolis... 2191
