Yesterday I had the privilage to talk about my research and introduce Loricariids as a great/fascinating model for understanding evolution (particularly their morophology) at the #fsbi2026 symposium in Southampton. I really enjoyed the event and learnt so much!

We've had a great first day of #FSBI2026 here in sunny Southampton! The morning started with an excursion on the RV Callista, a visit to the fish-holding facility at Sparshot and a walk along the River Itchen. The afternoon was then packed with professional development and special issue workshops.
