Half an hour will officially mark the beginning of week 8 in hospital btw. My PET/CT scan on Monday showed that the infection of my aortic graft has slightly improved but is still active.
My heart surgeon is keen to avoid further surgery so we're continuing with the IV antibiotics indefinitely.
