I remember hearing the line “I like everything but country and classical” which is a class marking mindfuck. For the record, my snobbery extends far beyond not liking country. There are some country artists I respect, but the genre still doesn’t appeal to me. Niether does metal.

People on resale sites are increasingly using AI to create photos of their goods on imaginary models. Not only is this a frivolous use of a technology that is extremely resource intensive and environmentally damaging, the AI photos often misrepresent details of the garment and how it would fit.

My high school creative writing teacher preached against the use of adverbs. He was trying (poorly) to encourage us to use more interesting verbs. He’s dead now, and if there’s any kind of an afterlife, I hope it’s lousy with adverbs.
