Yesterday there was a Reddit post where someone expressed how unsafe they felt going out in their downtown neighbourhood. A majority of the answers were weapons of some sort, mace, self defence classes, a dog, just move or call the non-emergency number to report. Oh, and that they were lying 🙄

I socialized last Thursday and now I am sick. Running nose, phlegm, aches, pains, and I've lost my voice. I'm limited to what I can take for meds, so it's Buckley's, acetaminophen and a warm drink of honey, ginger and lemon. I'm going to break out the Vick's rub just before bed. Uggh...

George starts meowing about 4am. He will continue even after receiving fresh waters, assorted foods and snacks, a scooped litter box, and sleepy conversation. Once he has both of us up, our coffees in hand, he snuggles into Jim's arm to go back to sleep.

George Snow, a rescue cat who is completely spoiled by his minions. George has two water bowls (one in the shower so he can move it around), three bowls of various foods, snacks and treats.
George is insistent that his male minion nap several times a day, just like this. Usually 8 am, 11 am, 1-3 pm and perhaps twice more depending on his mood.
We ❤️ George.

I finally managed to do something about my overbilling on my Ancestry account. My credit card was being billed in US funds so every month has been a $30-40 extra charge. Ancestry has admitted it was their fault, and was going to refund me one month. Oh. My. This might be entertaining.

Jim found this beautiful, but prickly, flower at the end of our driveway. Google tells me that the Bull Thistle is invasive, yet it is also a late season pollinator source. It doesn't grow in the shade, but that's where it is 🤷‍♀️
