A game I often compare DS2 to is Resident Evil 5. Compared to what Resident Evil was before 4, RE5 is a terrible Resident Evil game, but it's a pretty good game otherwise. If you remove your expectations of the franchise, both DS2 and RE5 become enjoyable experiences.

By no means will I say Dark Souls 2 is a bad game, however, it does not feel like a Dark Souls game to me. The TLDR really boils down to, the combat feels so off for what the other games go for, and the level design feels like level design, and not fantastical architecture to explore.

I've always wanted to have a youtube channel, not to be famous or anything, but to have an archive of modern "family videos" for people to look back on after I passed. As time has gone on, it's also become a backup plan for if I ever start to forget who I am or was.

Had one of my best games on Master Duel last night, gonna have it uploaded for Monday. I may have just gotten a bit lucky posting around WCS, but it's actually just really rewarding to make the thumbnails, and have more interesting matches saved. Rewatching them as I upload has taught me a lot!
