Another classic, not sure if I've already posted this one here.

The image is a six panel black and white comic.

Panel 1 - a girl sits at her desk in front of a computer, looking disheartened. She says, "I dont know if I should post this art, who would even want to see it?"

Panel 2- A new person bursts through the door in the background with a loud BAM

Panel 3- The new person pushes the girl out of the way, smushing her face in the process, while slamming their fist down on the keyboard.

Panel 4- The computer shows that the art has been posted

Panel 5- The person makes direct eye contact with the girl while pushing their finger against their own phone screen

Panel 6- A motion blur is added to the last panel, enhancing the impact of the new notifications on the new post. It reads, "(Friend) Liked Post just now" Followed by "(Friend) commented 'I FUCKING LOVE THIS AND I LOVE U'"

Underneath the last panel is a watermark that reads, Shubbabang

The problem with being independent and not caring about what others think, it doesn't matter that my partner says that he's sure it looks good, because it only matters that 𝘐 don't like it.

*so important*: if you’re voting by mail, assume the USPS will delay because it’s its policy. You can: —put it in drop box —go to counter to watch them postmark in front of you —if you’re dropping it in a mailbox, do it VERY EARLY.

I’ve been mulling over flatfish plates for a while & they finally made it to my pottery desk today! I’m so excited to see how these turn out (I have some fun ideas for the glazing 👀).

Six plates in the shape of flatfish sit on a wooden board (there’s also a little clay bird). They’re all made from white clay & are not dry yet.

Another view of the plates where you can see their forms (currently supported by little lumps of clay while they dry to hopefully lessen warping)!

A flatfish plate in progress held in my hand. It’s approx the same size as said hand.

Left side=wrong side of the fabric

140

Mara @thecatfreaky.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026

The "left" isn't for the left arm, but for the left side of the fabric. But I guess it works either way 😅

Me, cutting out another arm:

Fabric that has "innen" and "links" (inside and left) written on it pretty big.

170

Mara @thecatfreaky.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026

I cannot get over this. It's starting to get funny, but I think it still needs some time...

170

Mara @thecatfreaky.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026

(Oh and I still have just about enough fabric to still do this btw. We checked. I just finished ironing it and will cut it now or tomorrow.

150

Mara @thecatfreaky.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026

I just got the idea to someday make a very colorful version of this dress (or just the top) from random fabric I still have. Like the right arm is already done... 😭😭 Then maybe a yellow and green left arm and another color for the body??

140

Mara @thecatfreaky.eurosky.social · 06/10/2026

I realized maybe an hour ago... I actually noticed what happened earlier, but only really realized after all the work was done and I was about to attach it to the body.
