Started doing contract work lately! It started taking up a lot of time at first, which is why I haven't posted in a while. BUT, I think I've figured out some better time management! Some-what regular posting will be back soon!😊

First time trying to animate with #opentoonz. As well as just animating something more that just a short GIF! Still lots to improve on, but maybe not a bad start? 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋 #animation #digitalanimation #short #blueskyanimation

Yuck Elon, and Yuck Twitter Gold 🤮 It costs around 12K a year…. What a horrible waste of money, Instead of doing that, we are giving $1000 to a different charity each month this year. Starting with Doctors Without Borders!

I've tried to make a little tutorial of my process to quickly colorize my sketches. It's not particularly technical, but I hope you'll find it useful. 1/2

A black and white sketch of my oc Gerbyl.
"step 1. scan the sketch in high resolution."

Same sketch with brighter contrast.
"step 2. increase contrast levels to highlight the line
(but not too bright to keep the paper grain visible !)"

Same previous image with a Clip Studio gradient map window
"Step 3. to colorize the line and create a harmonious ambience, I add a gradient map layer at low-opacity."

Same sketch with a color layer added to the character.
"step 4. merge layers and set it in multiply mode and create a layer for the flats."

Reminder: this and other EOs will be immediately fought in court and by states. It won’t change things at the local level, especially in “blue states” The press and social media want despair because it gets them engagement. They don’t care how much that narrative harms your mental health.

A lot of memes are based on illustrations and comics that an artist made, but people remove all mention of the artist to make it seem as if the image sprang out of the ether, that it belongs to everyone. Especially in this day and age, it's important to assert when art is made by human hands.
