Finally started Episode 5 of Wintermute, the story mode of #thelongdark, aka The Light at the End of All Things. I love these new areas! I hope Hinterland puts these in Survival Mode, even if it's DLC.

Now it's day 40, and while that's not a PR, this is the 1st time I've had all the tools, forged the necessaries, have a bow and arrows, and have enough food to start crafting things like snares, tip-ups, and animal hide clothing. Knock on wood I make it to Day 50, which will be my new record

It's hard to find this kind of quiet beauty in any other game. One of the many reasons that I love #thelongdark

Just passed 1 year of survival in The Long Dark on Stalker. Longest run to date, I think. I had a 300+ day run before the reset, but I can't remember the exact number. ##thelongdark

I finally picked up Pacific Drive, and I'm about 40 hours in. Here are my thoughts. 1) I love it! I'm absolutely hooked. My favorite indie game since The Long Dark. Amazing story, amazing gameplay, amazing visuals. 2) @ironwood.bsky.social and @hinterland.bsky.social collab when?

Cover for the video game, Pacific Drive. A retro station wagon is parked on a rocky outcropping in the foreground. It is kitted out with armor, strange mechanisms, and exterior storage. In the background, a wide beam of light shoots vertically into a dark sky, illuminating the forested hills of the Pacific Northwest. Bits of rock and debris float up in the beam. Above it all are the words Pacific Drive

If you're in the Portland area, come by Void Tattoo Fest at the Jupiter Hotel, Fri-Sun, May 22nd-24th. I'll be tattooing with my shop, Anatomy Tattoo, in room 234 the first two days. Also, my buddy ben, who makes the best kitchen knives, will be there, and if you visit me, we can throw things at him

As a present to @itzymitzi.bsky.social, I painted her character for my up coming #Cypher campaign. Her name is Mouse and she's a Mysterious Pixen (think Halfling or Gnome) Rogue who Works Back Alleys. Her rat buddy is named Frederick, I think. Ink and watercolor on paper

As a person with a fear of heights and height induced "vertigo" (I almost had a panic attack in a glass elevator earlier this year), this bridge was the scariest part of #thelongdark to me, for a while. What got me over that fear, you ask? The massively scarier rope bridges in Ash Canyon actually

Here's a team photo from a Soapbox Derby a few years ago. That year, we mashed up The Muppets and Mad Max. I called it Mad Max: Felt Road. That's me as Kermit/Max. Next is the car we built. Half the car from The Muppet Movie, half a Mad Max style car.
