I had overloaded like a moron. They had all that food and gear at the bunker and I didn't know it was gonna be a sprint mission, or that I would be keeping any of it. I ran when I could, but after I put on the ballistic vest, that wasn't very often

High Energy was such a stressful mission, I didn't really have time to enjoy the shotgun. I barely made it. In the end, I used the revolver to "scare off" the cougar (keep it from mauling me, but not swiping at me), along with stims and the ballistic vest. Took 3 tries just to do that part

I know Blackfrost takes place in a different setting, on the mainland, and I don't know if there will be a story mode, but I'd love to see some Wintermute characters return in some way or another. I don't want to be done with them

Finally started Episode 5 of Wintermute, the story mode of #thelongdark, aka The Light at the End of All Things. I love these new areas! I hope Hinterland puts these in Survival Mode, even if it's DLC.

I took the most circuitous route just avoid that kitty. Up the ledge behind the lake, past the engine to the cave. Cave to the left end of Echo Ravine, then to the 3 way cave. Then up and left to the rope climb up to Deer Clearing. That's where that damn bear was waiting at the top

Now it's day 40, and while that's not a PR, this is the 1st time I've had all the tools, forged the necessaries, have a bow and arrows, and have enough food to start crafting things like snares, tip-ups, and animal hide clothing. Knock on wood I make it to Day 50, which will be my new record

Not in my case. I broke them all down to survive the night during a blizzard, and all I found was a climbing rope and a single scrap metal. I did get some hides, some leather and cloth, and just enough food to cover the caloric cost of getting up there.

Made it down from the summit (with barely any loot) and immediately ran into a pavk of timbies. Had to pop a flare and sprint to Mountaineer's. Time to get the hell of this Mountain and back to ML

Just passed 1 year of survival in The Long Dark on Stalker. Longest run to date, I think. I had a 300+ day run before the reset, but I can't remember the exact number. ##thelongdark
