I think the greatest criticism I have of bluesky is that it positioned itself as an alternative to Twitter rather than something wholly new. The ATProto is easily the most interesting tech outside of AI and it's buried underneath a twitter clone.

Despite being smaller Bluesky feels like the least bubbled platform. X is nothing but founders/VCs spamming the feed with shitty takes, fraudulent claims, and bad podcasts. IG is an endless feed of slop. Mastodon is a lot of Linux users. Only downside here is the furries.

I’ve noticed is that queer podcasts almost never have a table in the studio. Straight podcasts, there’s ALWAYS a big ole table. Why? They’re never eating. Does the table keep things straight? Podcast - table = gay??? We need to investigate
