Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 07/09/2026This week I have made several UX improvements to the home page and comparison page of Stackipedia. 000
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 27/08/2026On the plus size, TIL that font rendering out of the box still has a long way to go in KDE, especially on low resolution screens, definitely needs work :) 010
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 27/08/2026I know right. 1st img firefox, 2nd was brave-origin. It's an old laptop belonging to a friend of a friend that was lying useless so linux is obvious choice. Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 27/08/2026Can you help me fix this abysmal font rendering on KDE 6.6.6? Fresh system, 100% scaling, no hinting, sub-pixel rendering at RGB and anti-aliasing is enabled? Google can't seem to help. Everyone apparently has 4K monitors with scaling, I use a 1080p monitor and can't get it right. #kde #linux 100

Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 18/08/2026Thank you for sharing my article. It's crazy how many people relate to this daily struggle. Truly a universal issue. 100
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 11/08/2026One shotted apps and websites are the bane of my existence. Same goes for overtly verbose emails clearly lengthened by AI 010
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 09/07/2026Clearing out the shelves and realizing 80% of my personality is just hoarding ex-university library sales from like a decade ago 📚 Time to pass these classics along to someone else. #reading #books 030
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 06/07/2026Can I request a treat from my side for this cute goofy ball please! 😄 010
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 19/05/2026To me, a big factor in deciphering longevity is how much the manufacture supports the software updates. In that regard, unfortunately Moto falls apart. As long as the device is maintainable and performs decently, it should be nice. I've narrowed down my list even further now. 110
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 19/05/2026Very cool. I've been reading lots of good things about Pixel phones recently. Which is nice cause I treat the phone as a phone, not gaming device or the likes. Plus, like you know, enjoy occasional photography with it. 110
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 19/05/2026My current phone, the Galaxy A52 is a gone case. Will be updating soon, I am looking at Motorola's Edge 60 Pro. Is that a good choice? I've going to ditch Samsung this time around. Are Pixels 10 or 10a good for the extra cost? What about the phones by One Plus? Vivo's T4 Pro is also close. 100
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 15/05/2026Yes! There's clean water supply at home now. Straight from the ground. This might seem a like a trivial post to most, but to me it's such a relief. No more week-long summer rationing mandated by the government, no more dirty water 😊 020
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 11/05/2026A few more days for the muddy water to full clear out and hopefully, I won't have to worry about purchasing water to drink anymore. Screw the system that enables this. Never voting for these scums in my life. 010
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 11/05/202619 days now. Thankfully, we called a private contractor who completed a boring here. They found the water level and like most of my neighbourhood, we have a submersible system set up. 100
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 30/04/20268 days now, buying water to drink. Showering in the gym. Ordering food from restaurants 😔 110
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 27/04/2026Lovely flowers, I would spend hours in a place like this. Thanks for sharing! 000
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 24/04/2026Losing my mind since there has been no water supply in my area for 3 days now. The perks of living in India. 100
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 14/04/2026Before you buy that nice hoodie online, ask yourself, "Am I willing to delete one extra email every day for the rest of my life?" 010
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 14/04/2026This is just unjustified, either it's indifference when they ought to make their PAID users have a premium experience or they just haven't figured it out. Thanks for sharing my article! 010
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 04/04/2026I completed a long due book called Piranesi today. The author has elected for a slightly different story-telling style, with the entirety of the text being in the form of a journal by the protagonist. There are elements where the writing shines but it wasnt for me. Not bad, not good either. #reading 020
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 04/04/2026Thanks for the share Matt, appreciate that it's still driving conversation. 000
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 25/03/2026The year is 2026 and yet it remains impossible to simply drag and drop an events.ics file directly into my Google Calendar and have it block a time-slot. Dear Alphabet, not all our meetings happen in the realm of the Gmail/Meet combo, please add this 😭 000
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 25/03/2026Good observation, there is a market for that. Although, there exist a good many desktop applications, the collaboration-friendly tooling is what people increasingly prefer. Someone who nails that aspect with low overhead and a user-friendly feature set will be incredibly popular. 100
Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 24/03/2026It's incredible how vastly hardware has improved. Going by standards from 20 years ago, we would have instantaneous web, but here we are. Thanks for the share. 100

Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 24/03/2026The real flaw in your students' calculations is assuming the people of the far future haven't already built a tachyon deflector shield specifically to bounce them right back to us! 130

Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 22/03/2026Author here, I truly appreciate your kind words Robert. While researching this piece and improving the draft, I knew this was an issue people might relate to...because I was one of them. But the conversation it has generated around the web blew my mind about the scope of it all. Thanks for reading! 110

Pheonix @thatshubham.com · 22/03/2026For the status quo to shift, we need collective action from subscribers and casual visitors alike. Possibly vote with their wallets or voice their opinions online, preferably a mix of both. High bounce rates may finally trigger introspection about shifting to a more user-friendly model. Thanks! 020
