I don't understand extreme takes like this, sorry. I think we can hold blizz accountable without saying the game isn't "morally allowed to be a success", or accuse non-action of being "deliberately ignoring" it. We can be patient and see what Blizz does first, dont keep raising the temp on the convo

Only disappointment with #wow x #dnd so far is that its confirmed Shamans all get shoehorned into Barbarian. Elemental and Resto full casters in shambles. Maybe I have to get back into writing some custom subclasses? *cracks knuckles*

I have heard privately from a non-trivial amount of retail players (who are also big on Housing) that they are (at least considering) retiring to Forever. Gotta admit, a few hours of Forever makes it hard to log back in to the grind and rush of retail.

Modern wow is too much mmo. A game where the world is the content, and not weekly dripfeed loot treadmill chores, sounds really fun. Ugh. Put housing in Forever and tons of people would swap in a heartbeat. So many burned out after a year of decor grinding

Controller WoW is everything I wanted. I've been playing from my couch, and the whole experience is so chill. I'm testing druid to see if controller works well with it, I feel like yes. But I can also tell casual grouping is super important, controller UI doesn't make that easy (or possible?)

bedtime thoughts on #wow Forever as a sweaty casual retail player who has been on/off since TBC I love that somebody called it Retail-, instead of Classic+. It's an entirely different gameplay, but the features are very modern WoW. This is a version of "Classic" I could see myself playing. 🧵

Played an hour of #wow Forever Controller feels *really* good. The controls make sense, having played FFXIV before. It feels like this is the version of WoW they plan to launch on consoles

I think the new cursed keepsake #wowhousing feature is poorly designed in lfg and reward structure. So I'll share this unintended mechanic as protest :P Once you complete the scenario, drop the quest. Your currency doesn't disappear. Repeat as many times as you want.
