Some caddisfly finds - male and female Glyphotaelius pellucidus from Lancaster canal. The females lay jelly-like egg masses on overhanging leaves ("tree snot"!), and the aquatic larvae build cases from leaf fragments. #ukwildlife #insect #freshwater
