Yeaaah I finished Castlevania: Bloodlines! Awesome game but not the best "classic" style Castlevania. (That still goes to Rondo of Blood, IMO.) Unfortunately it seems Konami had parts of the VOD muted because of the music. Sorry about that, guys. :(

Also wanted to add that because of all the isekai slop I'm incredibly hesitant to check out modern-made fantasy manga/manwha. I can only read the same shit so many times about a protag with a super secret skill that ostracizes them but gets him laid and the battle lore is basically Dragon Quest.

I've seen worse remakes that have been shat out of Hollywood that are now utterly forgotten. (Anyone remember the Total Recall or Conan the Barbarian remakes? No?) It just feels like the hate for the 2016 GB movie is way overblown and is IMO not the low point of the franchise.

Now I was personally disappointed in the 2016 movie... but I actually gave it a fair chance and saw it opening day in IMAX. I'm happy it has fans and I'd gladly ask for a pic if I see someone wearing cosplay from it. It just wasn't what I wanted out of a new GB movie after waiting nearly 30 years.

I have a soft spot for GBII (it was my first GB movie) but it does lack the mojo that made the first movie special and isn't really THAT much better than the 2016 movie. Like, GBII and the lackluster (often terrible) last seasons of RGB lead to the franchise dying off in the early 90s.

Ocarina is a chunky game with plenty of dungeons and a solid storyline. This is still a 15 hour game compared to Star Fox's 1 1/2 (I know Star Fox is based around replaying it but it's a hard sell at $50 for people.) and a 20+ hour game if you wanna do 100% completion. Overall, I'm excited! 3/3

More stuff about the OOT remake: I initially had the same reaction to the visuals that I did back in 1998 with the original. "Whoa, this looks weird." and then eventually gelled with it. I'm REALLY looking forward to playing this on my TV w/ HDR! The voice acting sounds fine to me. 1/3

...The Ocarina of Time remake looks really good! It's a little disappointing that it seems to be leaning towards a 1:1 remake but with modern gameplay improvements. I was hoping for something closer to the Resident Evil remakes but this seems like it'll be worth playing!
