Been a bit since I posted anything about my Jada Toys Street Fighter collection and I'm happy to say I finally have all 17 fighters from Super Street Fighter II Turbo! Still one of the best toylines being made by a western company, BTW! Onward to Alpha and beyond!

A picture of a display cabinet full of Ultra Street Fighter II figures from Jada Toys. It is the entire 17 character roster of Super Street Fighter II Turbo with a MyArcade Street Fighter II arcade cab in the middle of the figures with a poster, metal plaque and 3D printed signs on the wall behind them.

This looks great, so much better than what McFarlane was doing. I'll wait for this Batman to get a figure, though.

...So I tried to do some research on a phone I wanted to replace my current one with on Reddit and searched for it... only to get a "ball stretching" subreddit to show up in the results. ...I think that's enough internet for the night.

The main protagonist from Konosuba, Kazuma, looking like he does not want to be here. He is sweating and holding his breath.

Went to a childhood arcade of mine today... and man it was barely recognizable. There was around 20% actual games while the rest were ticket/crane games. There was a single fighting game-- King of Fighters Neowave. This was THE place to go for fighting games in the 90s in my town. Ah well.

The main character from Kobosuba, Kazuma, looks to the left with a puzzled/fake smile. His eyes and mouth are tiny for comedic effect.

All right, I vented enough tonight. Here's a small thing that brings me joy: my Jada Toys Street Fighter collection. I love these little guys, they actually feel like they're worth the money unlike say Hasbro's Marvel stuff. Just need Zangief and T. Hawk to complete the SSF2T cast!

I went to Galloping Ghost Arcade today! I was originally going to record some footage for the SF video but this was the only time I could record any footage without people there so all I got was a single pan shot of the "Street Fighter Alley." lol Played Hyper SF2 for awhile, had a lot of fun!

Re-watching some of the Street Fighter X Tekken CG trailers after not seeing them in over a decade and came upon the Rufus VS Bob one and I forgot how handsome they made Bob. Pair it with Patrick Seitz doing the VA work and he's a surprisingly neat character who is overweight. Rufus though... Yeesh.

Here's the redone M. Bison model and the redesigned model for my animation stand-in for the Street Fighter video. My VTuber model finally has feet! The face in the screen is simplified to make it easier to animate but will be more detailed in specific close-up shots.

Street Fighter 5. I got home after buying it and found it was unfinished and super barebones... I was pissed. I sold it to get some of my money back. I never got the subsequent versions out of spite and Capcom thankfully learned their lesson with SF6.

The box art for the Playstation 4 version of Street Fighter V. It has Ryu, the main character, holding his arms up in a cross-defensive position while staring intensely at the viewer.

Well, this was a nice surprise to get today! I watched the first movie and MY GOODNESS does it have a absolutely BEAUTIFUL transfer. Working my way through the supplemental material and this is already a contender for 4K UHD of the year for me. It's just too bad I had to own another copy of 3. lol

I still find it odd that they close out the Pokémon VHS w/ a preview of the first Ranma 1/2 movie. Maybe cause it was Viz's biggest title back in the day besides Pokémon? Either way, don't think parents would be too happy finding out Ranma wasn't as kid-friendly as Pokémon was! Lol

It came in. It's as low effort as I've read. The case is cheap and has two of the discs stacked. The artwork insert does look like it was printed on an office printer. The reverse cover would look nice... if the front picture didn't look like a low quality .BMP from a 90s Geocities fansite. (1/2)

BTW I got to see 1990 Ninja Turtles at the theater last weekend. It was at a place near the con we went to and it was a near full house that had a bunch of gen x/millennial nerds, it was really exciting. It felt the same as seeing it for the first time back in 1990 as a wee lad at the drive-in. lol
