Blake's 7: Headhunter. The headless robot haunted me for years. For a couple of weeks after I swear I could see it coming up the stairs to my bedroom. Periodically the bastard still shows up in my nightmares... So the first time I saw Saturn 3 I had a great time. No flashbacks at all. /s

The safety car being stuck mid pack in the pit lane is such beautiful oddness 🤣🤦

Right, movie night. In The Grey. Ritchie. Cavill. Gyllenhaal. Arjona. Let's see what they got.

Ah another weekend for the 'WTF happened to McLaren🤦?' flag... Tomorrow should interesting though. The expected order took a knock and again our injured french boy impressed.

Checked B&M for KO core Dino's - no show. But Home Bargains delivered dirt cheap TF1 Quintesson so I'll take that. Hobbycraft disappointing for Blokees. Don't like that.

If there's one thing I'd change about Traitors it's the continual need to have slow dirge versions of 80s pop songs. Would it kill you to do a polka instead?

Finally found these guys again after packing em away way back when. Not massively keen on the plastic feel. Prowl's knees feel loose and the fold down covers in the feet fell off. Doesn't make me super keen to chase the newer versions if the mould deg was that bad before.

Ironhide (pointing to camera with gun): "Squirrel!"
Prowl (shocked): "Ironhide, WTF?"

Assuming DC/Gunn survives the Ellison of it all, would be kinda funny if Ritchson ended up as Aquaman after everything.

NGL I'd prefer another shot at getting a Hubcap to finish off the OG minibots and not need to aftermarket a 4yr old 4 pack with 3 bots I don't want.

Clone saga gets a lot of hate but NGL when I read it years after in UK reprints, I had a lot of fun with the weirdo twisty turny Uno Reverso of it all. This has my interest.

If they carried that over to the UK site, might need one 🤔

Mark, have you EVER really fucking understood what drives people? Asking for a pitchfork and torch wielding mob suddenly anxious to find your home address....🤨😡

I'll spoil one bit of F1 for the non Sky watchers. The guy who hasn't driven in 2 months got his ass on the podium 👏👏👏 Well played.

I'd been thinking SNW has been trapped by TOS canon/nostalgia but actually given how that finale played out and how much was referenced I think it's bigger. Star Trek has become trapped in itself. Even Disco and Academy trying to get beyond that are still in part caught in the trappings of the past.

Stealing from Ed Zitron (of course 😉) but...

000

TFPFoz @tfpoz.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

This is that episode of Star Trek where the society of the week is spending everything on machine mental health for it's profit engines and bugger all on it's people and Picard is 'but why?' the whole ep. The society dies at the end and Picard's all 'If only they could've discovered empathy..'

TFPFoz @tfpoz.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

This is effectively "BOOM! Studios presents Vertigo's DC comics' Swamp Thing" and it kind of does my head in to be stuck in 'IP is super valuable/exploitable (but we don't wanna do it)' world 🤦

It’s funny how films age. I’ve just been watching Johnny Mnemonic, where 320GB of data is portrayed as an almost impossibly huge amount that overloads the human brain. Back in the 90s, that figure seemed enormous. Now our phones and cameras can handle this easily.

I think people (not talking about Steve here) make a lot of assumptions about the rationality or forethought behind massive deals or investments, and think companies have plans, or strategies. In reality tens of billions can be spent because of the vibes

Good thread, worth reading. But this bit tickled a thought in my head: why give up now? Midterms are coming and the ticking clock of ongoing payments from P'mount to WB was running in front. Why not drag it out until you (potentially) gain more leverage in the house? And cost Larry money. Also..

Right, TF:TM86 set for tomorrow. Main event will probably break me. The new thing... I'm skeptical, based on that taster. Not a style of animation I enjoy.

Had a play with MP Road Rage which I haven't touched in years (the only MP I own). Hated it. Too fiddly, everything feels like it might break, tabs are awkward.. Just not fun. Are we due another go at the Tracks mould yet? Kingdom was a while ago after all...

Final little hmmm from the 4 pk. Horribull can't quite hold his guns straight because of the feet (never got TR Skullcruncher or Krok, was it an issue there?) and Magnus (or anybody in this box) can't hold either of his guns, they seem too thick for fists. Must be paint?

Horribull wonky fisting his guns while Magnus looks sadly at blasters he can't hold.

TFPFoz @tfpoz.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Got the four pack ages ago but never opened it up at the time (trying to get more playtime with my stuff now). This guy was on the chopping block because I'm just not an animated guy. But out of the box, he got a lot of rizz, y'know?

Animated Nemesis Prime, a surprisingly pleasing bit of in-hand chonk.
