Yes! Ultimately what I was trying to distill it down to, an underlying formula; & now it's becoming more clear that approaching from the fail states makes sense. I taught middle school math in a former life & even focused on probs to hopefully make things a little more interesting for the kids...😵‍💫🤯

The two dice constitute independent events. What I roll on one doesn't impact what I roll on the other. If it's *at least* one 8-10 result, then if anything it should be 3/10 (8-10) * 10/10 (1-10) ... Which brings us back to 30%.

That's incorrect. 8-10 is three outcomes, meaning it's a 3/10 or 30% probability. And I don't need AI to do my thinking for me.

Another classic, not sure if I've already posted this one here.
