I'm so glad that I finished my summer project in a timely fashion, while the sun is still warm and everyone can relate to the atmosphere and feelings therein

The main work is finally done for Silver Witch Princess Vai. Here's a preview of the first episode:

Title screen of Silver Witch Princess Vai

"There was much work to be done if Mauveine was to give Vai a comfortable, safe life here in this little harbor town. More than anything, she needed that. As much trouble as it might be, the girl deserved a quiet life."

Vai: I'm going to cast a spell. Don't distract me.

Turns out a month of working all day every day sharpens your skills but leaves you exhausted. VN's almost done. Or getting it as done as it can be by the deadline

As it turns out, when you have a brain disease that makes you think there should be minute changes to a character's expression every 2 lines, a 106k word VN becomes very difficult to turn from script to finished game in one month

I just realized it's been a month since my last update! Here's what I've gotten up to in that time: Silver Witch Princess Vai, a visual novel inspired by showa-era magical girl series It's not quite done yet, but I'm getting there...! #VN | #V_UAL

I need more of you to sit down with Tokimeki Memorial in good faith and realize that when a game with a calendar is 5 hours long each run and not 80, the pressure to have a perfect first run evaporates. The RPGs you've played are not representative of their original strengths and context in Japan.

"Summer grass, winter worm" comic panels.
1 - two sets of hands, Nyima's and Songtsen's, come together in prayer.
"After that they prayed. I wonder for what?"
2+3 - wide shot that continues across the panel border. In the first panel, Nyima and Songtsen sit together in the middle distance. In the second panel on the right, Thulia, shadowed, looks on awkwardly.

I've gotten into watching unsubbed anime for visual novel research, and it's been pretty rewarding

Majokko Megu-chan. Yes, the early episodes are subtitled, but not this one! Not as far as I was able to find.
