Hey gang. We wish we had some kind of exciting announcement leading up to the launch of our bundle, but circumstances beyond our control make us unsure if we will launch on time at all. The story isn't new for most of you - it's unfortunately the continuing erosion of service from @itch.io 🧵

An automated email response from itch.io's Zendesk, in which it reads:

As a science fiction writer I really fucking resent tech bros for ruining the phrase "artificial intelligence." 80 years of it being all about cool androids and interesting computers destroyed by five years of "Spicy autocorrect making everything shittier for money." NEVER FORGIVE.

That's it, that's my vote. That's all it took. The only other person I'd even consider over him now is AOC. Posting this to make others primary votes real easy.

I remember reading an article a long time ago about a woman in a horror movie who developed major PTSD afterwards. It was really sad actually...

if you've had a shitty week, here's the fantastic news you needed: solar is SO efficient now that nothing else really comes close. Solar farms like this- under which other countries plant crops that thrive in the controlled bright shade- are the easy future. this makes me sleep okay at night 😌

3 A game that is underrated IT'S TIME TO GET ON MY SOAPBOX AGAIN Starfox Adventures. Yes, it should've stayed Dinosaur Planet and the story suffered as a result. It's still a genuinely good Zelda-like dungeon game imo with some really great art, music, and puzzle design.

Some more settings I've been working on. The "off" option should be selected for most of them, still working on getting that to show. #vnlink

A settings screen with the "Skip" tab selected. There are four options under this tab which can each be set to on or off: "skip unseen text", "skip transitions", "keep skip post-choice", and "keep skip post-battle".

A settings screen for a video game. The "Battle" tab is selected, with a handful of sliders under it. There is a slider for "Base Battle Speed", "Notification Speed", "Flavor Text Speed", and "Enemy AI Speed". Under that, there is an on off buttons for "Skip Battle Animations".

Egg and bacon omelet with melted cheese and black pepper on a hamburger bun. One of my favorite ways to start the day.

A sandwich with scrambled eggs, bacon, melted cheese and black pepper on a hamburger bun is to the left of a paper plate. Red apple slices sit to the right.

Concept art for Esyglia from back in 2022, drawn by bsky.app/profile/fren.... Her design hasn't really changed since then, the rest of us all loved it too much!

Concept art for the character Esyglia. In the top left is the title "Esyglia, the Cheerful Moon" written in a handwriting font. On the left part of the page is a sketch of Esyglia, she has her left arm resting on a table and her chin is resting on her right hand. She is wearing a puffy cardigan and an amulet. She's smiling, with the words "hehe" written next to her face. She has a short bob haircut and two leaves in her hair near the back of her head. She also has a small hair antennae sticking out of her head. On the right is a color picture, she has yellow skin, slightly darker yellow clothing/hair, and orange eyes. The leaves on her head are green and her medallion is orange. In this picture, she's standing with her hands clasped in front of her. Instead of legs, Esyglia's bottom half is a large bulb, like a flower.

Now that it's not cold out anymore, time to put that winter coat to good use these next few months.

A dark blue winter coat sits balled up on a carpeted floor, a black cat is curled up tightly on top of it.

Working on accessibility features ^.^

A screenshot from an options menu. "Accessibility" is currently selected, with options to change text size, text contrast, text speed, line spacing, textbox transparency, text to speech, text to speech volume, base battle speed and notification speed. The final option is slightly cut off, implying there are more options under it.

Reminiscing about 2023 GDC. One year I'll be able to afford going back!

The picture is taken in a grassy park. In the background are a few trees with lush green leaves, one tree with no leaves, and one with pink flowers. Behind them is a glass convention center. In the foreground is a woman wearing a blue hoodie smiling at the camera. She's squinting because it's sunny.

A group of people wearing lanyards sands for a group photo. The people in the front hold the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute flag, which has a coat of arms and the word "Rensselaer" emblazoned on the front.

A picture of the Moscone Convention Center. It's a big glass building with a walkway connecting the two parts that are across the street from each other. Heavy car and foot traffic is seen on the road between the center's two parts.

An egg sandwich with toasted broad, lettuce, bacon, a sunny side up egg, and sauce. The top piece of toast is left off to the side of the sandwich with a smiley face drawn using sauce on it. A glass of lemonade sits to the side of the sandwich.

If I had no soul I could have ground against the AI mill for *months* and not gotten something as spectacular & unique as @ambisweetiepie.bsky.social's Magica Riot cover. You're paying for an artist's time, skill, and *creativity.* AI will never give you that
