Oh, this fun guy
You can't protest peacefully. You can't boycott.
You can't hunger strike. You can't hijack planes.
You can't block traffic. You can't throw Molotovs. You can't self-immolate. You can't heckle politicians. You can't march. You can't riot. You can't dissent. You just can't be.

Found this picture of you guys. Right outside my door is 65-67, then I walked behind the building, away from the fountain and AC and cars where it’s mostly just cicadas and the river and that’s like 60.
Children’s book named “Things That are Soft”, where the cover depicts cats, blankets, teddy bears, etc.

Of course that does not liberate us from our obligation to use our vast wealth to help the most needy - it increases it.

ignoring and writing off
Southern states as unsalvageable is unproductive, because Confederates were engineered by Yakub on the island of Patmos to oppose all which is good in the world;
Sherman didn’t go far enough
your neighborhood is better because
it isn't occupied by literal demons from Hell

I don’t think houses are 600x more expensive or that wages increased 150x.

Meme of a pizza with all slices being grabbed by different hands. The hands are all captioned ‘coconut crab’ and the pizza is captioned ‘Amelia Earhart crash landing on an island in the Pacific Ocean in July 1937’.

Damn, that’s crazy. I bet we see a really noticeable difference in TFR between them and their post-Soviet neighbors and I bet they have a way higher fertility rate than us.

It looks like the forms they’re trying to transition to just picked 6 (presumably most common) subgroups of each racial group. I’m surprised Polish and Scottish are that common, but this looks… kinda reasonable. I like that they changed MENA and Hispanic in particular.

I love that the top of her wiki page is this
Naomi Wolf’s wikipedia page, which starts off by warning that she is not to be confused with Naomi Klein. It describes Wolf as an American feminist, journalist, and conspiracy theorist.

Drugs can have effects on regulation of mood and behavior, but do not directly cause behaviors. A great example is alcohol, which can certainly disinhibit people, but only so far as it uncovers preexisting thoughts that people may not have otherwise expressed or acted on.

Pretty powerful argument against market efficiency that this wasn’t priced in.

After analyzing the top-scoring strategies, Axelrod stated several conditions necessary for a strategy to succeed:(12]
• Nice: The strategy will not be the first to defect (this is sometimes referred to as an "optimistic" algorithm(by whom?]), i.e., it will not "cheat" on its opponent for purely self-interested reasons first.
Almost all the top-scoring strategies were nice. la]
• Retaliating: The strategy must sometimes retaliate.
An example of a non-retaliating strategy is Always Cooperate, a very bad choice that will frequently be exploited by "nasty" strategies.
• Forgiving: Successful strategies must be forgiving.
Though players will retaliate, they will cooperate again if the opponent does not continue to defect.
This can stop long runs of revenge and counter-revenge, maximizing points. b]
• Non-envious: The strategy must not strive to score more than the opponent.
