Three panel comic. Panel 1: 5 million years ago - a bunch of bedbugs lounge around in a living room, looking totally bored. Panel 2: another bedbug excitedly bursts through the front door and exclaims, “someone invented beds!” Panel 3: one of the bedbugs looks over their shoulder at the other and says, “you’re joking”

ok a few more cryptid bebes and I'm off to bed, I powered the local GPU Glaze
a 3x4 grid of silly little digital doodles of various mythical creatures and cryptids, from top left:
- LESHY - a tiny black pompom with a baby bucktooth skull, two little plantlings growing as horns, two little sticks for hands, tiny baby plants growing around them
- MOTHMAN - wooly bear black and red caterpillar, but with mothman's usual big red eyes, surrounded by stars and a crescent moon
- KRAKEN - baby squid paralarva which is a seethrough squid like blob with a little orangey translucent organs, and two big sparkly eyes, he is thinking of a little toy boat
- FRESNO NIGHTCRAWLER - white haunted pants but it has a little baby button flap
- CHUPACABRA - little lizardy looking guy, supposedly a chupacabra baby, with little pink spikes and nails and anime eyes
- GILL-MAN - a little green tadpole with axolotl little gill frills, and little human limbs
- WENDIGO - two baby versions of the wendigo, one is a baby deer with a skull and long arms, the other is a grey zombie with bloody limbs and a skull with white short pants
- TATZELWURM - orange tabby kitty, but it is almost a snake with only the front paws folded in front of their face and a little triangle tail sticking up, no hind paws
- BLACK SHUCK - cursed british black dog cryptid, but it is a teeny little puppy with glowing red eyes and a stick
- TSUCHINOKO (real) - fat ball of a snake, their eggshell still stuck to the round body, cream orange with small stripes and doing a little blblbl tongue sniff
- MOTHMAN (teen) - wooly bear cocoon, which looks like a little fuzzy brown poop, wearing little glasses and holding a yellow book that says COMIX and has a little cryptid prancing on the cover
- MONGOLIAN DEATH WORM - a freshly hatched transparent wormy with a little dark pink middle gut, two tiny black eyes, and the big open maw only has two little baby milk teeth coming out from the bottom

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

drawing of a young goth/alt looking woman, on a bright pink/red flat background
she's wearing tartan skirts, is in the process of taking off her jean jacket, revealing tattoos on her arms and a top that says "Fuck AI"
she has almost white blonde hair, and is bathed in a pink/red lighting

They Put a Hat on Me, Pardner

Pardner. My dearest pardner. I write to you with a great sadness in my heart.
I was resting my eyes, ever so briefly. Minding my own business. I felt a pressure upon me. A terrible and oppressive pressure.
The pressure was an awful object. The long-limbed creature who lives in my home placed it so close to my precious head.

This definitely forbidden gummy is in fact a moth larva of genus Olona (possibly Olona zolotuhini). It's *normal* to want to know what flavor it is, but the answer, unfortunately is "pain". Most species in this family are covered in tiny stinging spines connected to poison glands. (📷: Janice Ang)

My photo shows a small clay aryballos (oil flask) in the form of a hedgehog. It has a rounded, squat body with a long pointed snout. At the top of the body is a small spout for filling with oil. Sculpted details include eyes and ears ears. The light tan surface is painted with dark spots representing the hedgehog’s spines. It measures 4.8 cm in length and 3 cm in height. Dated circa 550 BC.
