And like, I mean it, when CA's economy is essentially under a stranglehold from PG&E and Edison going "we'll do climate resilience projects only if you bail out our insurance settlement bill" with a state PUC that just rubber stamps all rate hikes, this crisis is entirely of our own making.

Also, if San Francisco can gut its entire civil rights office for corruption charges and lose a bunch of ear marked money into the general fund like "oopsies" then LA can handle settling a bunch of multi-million dollar lawsuits and accidentally defunding some critical city program to do it.

Perhaps the private insurance market in California going bankrupt over wildfires is a direct symptom to the complete lack of policy decisions we needed to make over the decades to prevent climate disasters and we are, in fact, living that dire apocalyptic scenario where things fall apart

"But Chiaki, you don't understand the context for this." Look, if sexual harassment suits can bankrupt a city, you'll rue the day we actually get to reparations for slavery because that bill is going to bankrupt the whole country and it'll still be justified.

I would simply seek electing and hiring governmental leaders and employees who aren't sex criminals.

Probably mostly because the medium is horrible and stilted compared to most other comic formats and need to be judged amongst only its peers.

You gotta appreciate that Webtoons are distinguishing themselves as a standalone genre of manga.

You know Change. org is a joke of a site when the site sends you a spam e-mail asking you to come back and sign more petitions. Like, fuck off.

They want Derek Zoolander to watch anime?

If you're wondering why I was looking through mods, I just wanted to add bullbars on my Crown Vic, because a Crown Vic without bullbars is like a Diesel Volkswagen that doesn't sound like a tugboat. A stock WRX STi. A Tesla without an "I bought this before I knew he was crazy" bumper sticker.

If you asked me what I truly want in a road trip DLC, it's that I want my Subaru in the game, failing that, I'm hoping for like a late model Dodge Neon.

Steam Workshop::【Beta】TUNDRA Engine & Transmission in Ford F150

The only acceptable mod, because it's hilarious: "I wanted to change the F-150 into a Toyota Tundra, but didn't have time, have the engine and transmission for now, I'll work in the rest of the car later"

..... d-do you not know how engine braking work on normal passenger cars?

DESCRIPTION
This mod addresses a vanilla issue with the Ford cars from Road Trip where applying the engine brake would cause cars to downshift. You'll also no longer be able to manipulate the engine brake using the decrease/increase keybinds. However, the engine brake indicator will still appear in the indicator widget if you press the engine brake keybind.

This should be compatible with sound mods that overwrite the existing "sound.sui" file.

*Game Devs release new DLC featuring carefully crafted audio design using engine sounds recorded straight from the car they're modeling* Day 1 mod featuring genAI cover art: "YO YO YO, I REPLACED THE ENGINE SOUNDS TO BE BETTER"

as always when this is posted, i have to fondly remember the time someone stole this tweet word for word, including using my name as the punchline, then claimed it was just independent discovery
