I may have a nasty cold but im making great progress in #palworld. Azure covenant tower beaten, Panthalus captured. On to the world tree!

There are 3 types of podcast ads: "We're the only podcast that serious conversations about sex snd relationships. Ignore the 90 million other sex and relationship podcasts" "Want to hear about a gruesome murder where we harass the victims family for our own profit?" "I'M A CELEBRITY!"

So I'm not normally a survival crafting gamer type, but Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter came out a week ago and I'm still playing Palworld.

Well, we finally hired a replacement which means I can finally head back to Ottawa this weekend. It's been over a month since I saw my apartment!

Busted out my laptop for some #Palworld on my half hour break. Do I have a problem? Yeah, not enough time for palworld!

Sat out on the deck playing Palworld and enjoying the breeze. Going to see Coyote vs Acme later today. A good start to the weekend

So Audible's algorithm is totally fucked. I recently listened to To Catch a Fascist and The Nerd Reich. Audible tried to recommend me Andy Ngo's bullshit antifa book based on that reading. It also tried to recommend me a steaming pile from Glenn Beck. Blech.

Looks like another rainy day, I guess I'll have to keep playing #Palworld today. About to start building my second base and see about tackling the first tower.

Listening to "To Catch a Fascist" by @letsgomathias.bsky.social while enslaving adorable creatures in Palworld. Cognitive dissonance? What's that?

At the section in the audiobookof #TheNerdReich about Curtis Yarvin and I keep having to pause and mutter things like "oh you absolute asshole."

Finally saw the #odyssey. For all the right wing and racist screeching about Helen of Troy, she's barely even in the film. Overall a very good movie, but definitely on the long side.

Last day of being the only available tech in the area, my coworker gets back from vacation on Monday. While I like working for a small company there are definitely some downsides.

Saw the new #Spider-man movie. Very solid, I enjoyed Spidey and the Punisher's interactions. They had me guessing what direction they were going. At some points it felt like the Man-Spider arc, others felt like they were moving to The Other storyline.

@michaelehayden.bsky.social in the latest posting through it you said there wasnt any election denial on the left in 2024, but I recall seeing a lot of posting about Elon Musk somehow rigging the 2024 election in Trumps favor around that time.

My headcanon is that the Craft takes part in the Dresden Files universe, and the out of town girl is an untutored white council level talent who gets involved with very minor practitioners.

Spent today playing Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and starting a new playthrough of Pokémon Violet. While Violet is sluggish and has a lot of camera angle issues the quality of life upgrades compared to even a remake of the older games are fantastic.

Playing some Pokémon Brilliant Diamond. On the route a kid challenges me "my dad gave me these Pokémon and they're going to win for me!" Kid drops a magikarp. His dad clearly doesn't love him.

Seeing a lot of skeeting about how anyone who didn't think #Supergirl was the best film in history is a misogynist. It was okay. There were plot holes big enough to drive a space truck through, the villain was pointlessly over the top evil, and the pacing wasnt great. Fun to watch, not high cinema.

To all the Americans whining that #GTAVI is $80, here's what we're expected to pay in Canada. Before sales tax.

Picture of Grand Theft Auto 6 on the Playstation store for $139.99 canadian dollars.

Dan from IT @terranon.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

The #Supergirl movie was okay. It was very heavy on plot devices. Villain was completely unmemorable, I've already forgotten his name and I just left the theater. Even Jason Momoa as Lobo was pretty mediocre, which seemed like a dead ringer from a casting perspective. Maybe 6 out of 10.

It's almost comical how every time there's even a hint of an attack the administration blusters that the attackers are politically on the left before they know anything. Then the evidence inevitably shows otherwise.
