fucking stupid that it took kids getting murdered for people to take watching them seriously. i'm glad we aren't living in those times anymore. still happens though, unfortunately.

000

the amount of missing/unidentified kids cases i've read about is fucking depressing. so many times people should've been watching them, but they weren't. and they either got snatched, or killed and dumped somewhere. most cases were preventable.

000

hanging out was fun, but overstimulating as fuck.

000

raiding is very much out of my comfort zone lol. ventured out of it to form a static, then regretted it near the end.

000

like... i was never any good at it anyway. feeling like i'm the dumbest motherfucker in the party isn't fun.

Terra @terraleopard.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

tbh, i really don't want to go back to raiding. with two of our members gone from the static, what's the point? lol

000

it would seem i'm starting to break out in hives on my fingers again. this hasn't happened in a couple years lol

I met a hardcore gam dangler at the shelter today.

That's Pumpkin and this is his brother Baby. They are 17 years old and just the sweetest little gentlemen! It's often hard to get senior cats adopted - especially bonded pairs - but someone will be so lucky to have them. ❤️ They're not available for adoption yet - I'll share a link when they are.

Our wonderful new mini donkey, Josie, is 45 years old! That is very old for her species but she is still loving life. 🥰

Demand every processor tell you when they launched an investigation into steam, itch, patreon, and what illegal content they found. When they say it's because theyre "high risk", ask them why they're discriminating against protected groups. Repeat. They're blaming each other because they're scared.

Please keep sweet Batgirl in your thoughts and heart. She did not take her morning treat like she usually does so we started her on critical care and rushed her to the vet because her temperature was very low. Dr Sarah says the next 24 hours will be very critical💕

A key point in Fahrenheit 451 is that books were banned because they made people depressed and uncomfortable. The novel's protagonist, Montag, is taken into custody after he reads a poem that makes a woman cry because she realizes the emptiness of her life.

[quoting a tweet from isabelunraveled in which she rails against depressing books that get branded as “great writing”]

Beloved C4C graduate Sunflower sustained a sudden freak injury to her back late last night & was rushed to the ER. She’s on crate rest & meds for pain but she needs more diagnostics (and already had a sizeable bill from the ER). Please help out if you can ko-fi.com/kurtbrussels
