Pleased to share a Cardiff University news feature on our work with Hana D’Souza. Using baby-worn headcams and AI face detection, we found non-linear changes with age in face availability from babies’ point of view during everyday play. Thanks to @cardiffbabylab.bsky.social and families involved.

To remember something (e.g., a list of groceries), you can repeat the items aloud or in your mind, to remind you. What if you are trying to recall locations? Do we analogously use glances toward them to boost memory? I don't think so, and here is some new evidence against this idea. 🧵 #psychscisky
