i was gonna upgrade Odin’s tank today but i realized i don’t have enough lid locks for the new tank and now he’s acting like his husband is lost at sea

A ball python (Python regis) softly lit by a warm amber light, curled into a sad ball and staring despondently into the distance offscreen like a mourning widow

@bonniequinn.bsky.social since bsky gets the unhinged version of you, this is where i’ll give you the unhinged version of me (and my best friend)

a cropped screenshot of a direct message exchange between me and user “jinx”:
me: Beau is the 100 year old virgin who barely knows that sex exists, i would love it if he ate (censored) pussy like a god but let’s face it. thats not the case
Jinx: don’t we all wish the century year old virgin knew how to eat (censored) pussy

in fun news, i have officially been bitten by a tarantula! i consider this news “fun” because a) The Experience, and 2) i legit did not realize I’d been bitten until 2 days later. i didn’t feel a pinch/jab/anything in any way. i thought he had kicked hairs on me! here’s the adorable little culprit:

An almost-adult (palm-sized) curlyhair tarantula Nicaraguan form (meaning he is Extra curly), sitting comfortably on the knee of a person wearing denim pants.

Not me wanting to make a comic set to Hell’s Coming With Me by Poor Man’s Poison about Tor being exiled from home into Maul’s tutelage and coming back unexpectedly to violently claim his throne and kick unholy ass

welp i FINALLY laid down Tor’s color palette and he’s already SO STINKIN CUTE

A Pyke alien from Star Wars in the style of the Clone Wars, with fishy silvery-green skin and a large tapered head shaped like a torpedo lying flat. The alien has glowing eyes that are solid purple with no sclera or pupil. He is wearing a gold metal headdress that is shaped like a scallop shell. He is also wearing a high collared cape and tunic but that hasn’t been colored yet.

at some point i am going to paste Tor’s full backstory on here so i have it all in one place, but for now, here, enjoy what I’ve been working on all day: the New Darksaber 🌙 designed and wielded by Tor Pyke using the darksaber crystal after the Original Darksaber hilt is destroyed by Gideon.

An asset sheet for comic/animation reference, titled NEW DARKSABER. It is a custom, one-of-a-kind lightsaber with a black blade and a single blade edge as opposed to the usual tube surface. It is based heavily on the katana, with the hilt and blade curving in a gentle arc. The hilt is made of layered rings of Mandalorian Beskar steel, with every other ring plated in gold. The pommel cap, hand guard, and blade collar are all plated in gold as well. The hand guard design is a cutout of the scallop-in-a-shell shaped Pyke crest, with the hilt and blade passing through where the heart of the scallop would be. The pommel guard and blade collar are stamped in bas relief with the Pyke crest and the Mythosaur crest respectively.

ok i think i will get some food and have a break. I’ve been hanging in the reptile room/Peanut’s room since noon just drawing, which has been so relaxing and nice 🥰 but I’m at a stopping point and I’m not able to take my NyQuil for another 1.5 hours, so i gotta fill the time with something lmao.

Peanut has a song about my coughing so much it interrupted his breakfast. he also thinks his one hanging toy is another bird and is putting his head against it to ask it to preen him

i did something unusual with Kat. normally i draw a full figure and then add clothes, but with her long skirt, i didn’t bother drawing legs. this made me work in reverse to draw her legs later. i actually love how they came out realistically chubby 🥹 now to draw her Mando armor!!

A screenshot of the art program Procreate, of basic uncolored ink lines of a short curvy woman with her arms at her sides. She is wearing a crossbody wrap that covers her chest but leaves her midriff bare, and a full length skirt. Her hair is unstyled and is straight and long, past her butt.

Another screenshot from Procreate of the same woman, this time without any clothes — but she is smooth and featureless like a Barbie, don’t worry, no nippies. Her legs are chubby, with visible hip dips/mini love handles, fat spilling over the kneecaps, and dimples under the knees. The idea of boobs is created by negative space with a vague outline of the undercarriage.

One more Procreate screenshot of the same woman, now with Mandalorian armor on the chest and stomach. The armor includes some seamlines for perspective because she has big boobas.

ok so… the main reason i started up over here is so my art won’t be used to train genAI. so that’s gonna be the bulk of my content for a while. and what I’m arting at the moment is Star Wars OC model sheets so that’s what you can expect!
