I’m throwing a new crackship into the mix. May Grant would be flustered by all the chaos that Dr King floats effortlessly through. Mel would be enraptured at the way that May interacts with the people within the ER like they were old friends. The Pitt would be placing bets. The 118 would join.

A screen grab of Dr Mel King from The Pitt. She is holding a cellphone to her ear and is wearing her signature clothing from the show, a black coat with a dusty purple shirt and her stethoscope around her neck. She is played by Taylor Dearden.

I don't care how good the content is, if you use GenAI images for illustration I'm not opening, reading, or sharing your work. Even beside the disrespect to creators - I don't trust the laziness to stop at the images.

PSA: Before this "dislike" thing gets out of hand, because I've seen some very big accounts misinforming people, here's what it actually is. It's a private option that lets you see less of topics you're not interested in on certain feeds. That's it. It's not a downvote, thumbs down, etc.

So many times I have been *sure* I would never have another good day. Sometimes not even hyperbolically or melodramatically like after a breakup, but quite logically, such as upon being told I had cancer in half a dozen different places. Every single time I thought that, I was wrong.

Digital painting of Bobby and Chimney. Chimney is shirtless with his eyes closed and tears are streaming down his face. His hands are interlocked in prayer. Bobby is above and behind him, bringing one hand forward to wipe away a tear. The background is stained glass reminiscent of religious imagery.

If you think less of people for reading fic you clearly have not been captivated by an exquisitely painful slowburn that only gets explicit around 140k & its 1:48AM but your momma didn't raise no quitter so you keep on reading until the sun rises and you are now fundamentally changed... and it shows

Remember that different people process differently and that they may feel differently about an episode, it’s not a morality contest. Please drink water and get a treat, go for a walk and leave sm for a bit if needed. Talk to your fandom friends to help process, etc.

@hufflepuff1990ao3.bsky.social you hit the nail with: “I feel like being mad at the cast for this is like being mad at the waiter at a restaurant for how the menu is set up. They don't make the decisions, they just work there and are unfortunately the face you see representing the product outward.”
