Prof. Peter Spiro, one of the nation's leading experts on U.S. citizenship law, was cited 3x in Justice Thomas' dissent in Trump v. Barbara for his 1997 article "Dual Nationality and the Meaning of Citizenship"—though Spiro himself argues strongly in support of birthright citizenship.
