We gave towers the ability to interrupt their idle with a pose when the player hits an attack input Sort of like Beat from UNBEATABLE, the lockstep guys, or (Strike a Taunt,) Peppino! #gamedev

(Reuploaded because of a bug 🐛 If you saw it, no you didn't) Changing the rates (rhythms) at which our towers fired meant changing how projectiles moved and that meant weird offbeat collisions (ew) I needed a solution for syncing sounds to the music. Now it feels like part of the songs! 🤖💥🎵

Sometimes you're not the game's main programmer but you lock in and spend a week completely overhauling the game's rhythm & input systems just because you want to make the towers fire in fun-to-hit patterns QUAVERS ARE NOW REAL (and other notes too...)
